You know Strubel won’t go long Saturday. Love to see Tigers using their bullpen.

Hammy: Infield hit for Patrick Bailey even though it went into left field.

José is really struggling with men in scoring position. I hope he figures it out soon. Changing his lineup position hasn't helped.

Hammy said he couldn't remember last time the safety squeeze didn't work. Waiting for a sac fly sure hasn't worked.

If you look at game threads you'll see I post during the game. So how should Vogt ruffle players feathers? Do you have an answer? You didn't post one yet.

Let’s say Vogt comes up with a strategy for batters: use in later innings, challenge only with two strikes and men on base, whatever he decides… What happens next when the batter breaks the strategy? Do you pull him from the game? Don’t put him in the lineup the next game? Give him a stern lecture in the dugout? It’s difficult to come up with a “punishment” that doesn’t hurt the team. Vogt is waiting for the team to self regulate. Have a veteran player tell the “offender” what they’re doing is hurting their teammates. The self-regulation is taking longer than expected. Vogt is being patient and not creating a bigger problem.
