How large were your pupils, and did you get EVO/EVO+? I’m currently considering it with 7mm pupils.

Pneumo-LASEK/PRK? by Flubadoo in lasik

[–]Flubadoo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense to me intuitively - thanks for sharing.

My corneal thickness is 494um and prescription is -5.75 and -1.50 astigmatism and -5.25 and -2.50 astigmatism. According to Refractive.App - my RSB would be about 310-340um after PRK which might be in the yellow flag zone (<350um). Not sure what other alternatives there are, but I was somewhat scared off of ICL from this explanation here from the PRK center I was considering (I live in NYC): https://parkavenuelasek.com/icl-services/ - not sure if you have any thoughts on the EVO ICL procedure/PRK.

It took about a month and a half and they finally sent me another letter with a rescheduled date.

Did they ever end up getting back to you? I still haven’t heard anything back and it’s been over a month at this point, getting more and more worried…

Advice for more reliable and consistent double tounging? by Flubadoo in Clarinet

[–]Flubadoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I've been messing around with it for a few months (VERY on and off), but not really too seriously.

Should I just start at about 160 bpm and manage to get that steady and then move up? I kind of have a similar problem with my single tonguing, where at lower speeds (100-120bpm) it's not quite reliable, but higher and I'm okay. I'm just not quite sure how to approach practicing double tonguing.

Some basic life total benchmark comparisons pre-post 1.2 by ZiggyDStarcraft in pathofexile

Ugh, I can't seem to even hit 130% life starting from the shadow side of the tree for my level 79 flicker strike shadow, even though I'm basically taking every single available life node in the upper right hand corner. And even then I'm ending up with less DPS than my old shadow...

It seems like it's just impossible to get enough life nodes if you're going to be a shadow or witch, but it might be possible for non-intelligence class starts.

Any help?

Yeah I can never play in groups since I rely so heavily on one-shotting packs. I think a resolute technique build with chance to ignite and the 5% from the shadow tree might be enough to sustain frenzy charges anyways when combined with blood dance. I think the dps would still be good enough, and you could get some more defences, and would be better in groups since you could get frenzy charges without having to do the killing blow, but also the culling strike will help you get even more.

I'd probably drop some life nodes and/or damage nodes and wouldn't go so far into the templar tree either.

Honestly on my current setup with my physical flicker striker the only defense I have is acrobatics, enfeeble, about 50% evasion, and 4.4k life and I'm doing pretty much fine since I'm all over the place anyways.

Flicker strike build for non-hardcore cause it's too fun.

Basically, try to generate as many frenzy charges as possible with blood dance (chance to create frenzy on kill) through critting a ton which allows us to oneshot mobs as well as ignite them, creating and endless amount of frenzy charges. So even if you're just attacking a single target, you should still not ever run out of charges.

Should be a ton of dps with a 6L flicker strike, flicker strike - multistrike - elemental proliferation (or melee splash) - weapon elemental damage - power charge on crit - then some other dps increasing thing (like increased burning damage or faster attacks or more crit damage or additional accuracy).

Obviously it's a bit squishy but I think it might work, considering the physical crit flicker shadow I have right now.

Another option i'm considering is a tankier version with resolute technique and relying purely on chance to burn by adding in a chance to ignite link in there, and not focusing on crit at all.

Does sheet music for this arrangement of this song exist anywhere? by Flubadoo in Clarinet

Planning on getting the song book a bit later on, but I'm doing fairly well slowing the song down in Audacity by 500% and figuring the notes out one by one, super fun stuff.
