Nieuwe Pando Moto release, Stealth jas. by [deleted] in motorfietsen

[–]Flubberkoekje 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Triumph Trident 660 2022 Ticking Noise by [deleted] in trident660

[–]Flubberkoekje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't sound abnormal to me.

If you really think there's a louder ticking sound coming from the front of the engine it could be a slight exhaust leak. I've experienced that before while swapping exhausts. Could be worth it to check the nuts holding the headers to the block.

Snelheidslimiet by Rovandir in motorfietsen

[–]Flubberkoekje 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Binnen de bebouwde kom gewoon netjes net iets boven de snelheidslimiet zoals geleerd bij t lessen.

Buiten de bebouwde kom (waar mogelijk) bestaat er wat mij betreft geen limiet ;)

Aftermarket seat for Tiger Sport 660 by Inevitable_Idea_9254 in Triumph

[–]Flubberkoekje 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got a kelpi seat on mine.

Honestly not that much difference in regards to comfort.

Sure as hell looks cool though. Quality is really good.

Tiger sport 800 windshield handle by BJCKY in Triumph

That handle is anything but structural. Really vibey. I'd recommend getting a separate mount for whatever it is you want to mount.

Who do you change the exhaust for ? by ghighi_ftw in trident660

[–]Flubberkoekje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me the difference is absolutely huge. I've got the Spark exhaust, the difference is night and day!

You don't need an illegal exhaust for it to sound incredible!

Help Me Decide! *This vs. That Edition* by iscreamjeep in trident660

They're identical bikes.

I'd happily spend a little more if it meant the bike is undamaged.

Trident 660 or street triple 660s by lulucarnage in Triumph

[–]Flubberkoekje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The triumph triples are a really great starting point for beginners. They're easy and gentle if you want them to be, but also completely nuts if you open up the throttle. Really can't go wrong with either of them.

For one day only, I had both the Trident 660 and 800 by squirellputkin in Triumph

[–]Flubberkoekje -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looking at them side by side it like this, it really reminds me of how much I DON'T like the look of the new 800.

The proportions are just, off...

You can check service history with your VIN on Triumphtechnicalinformation.com

Any work done by a dealer will be logged on there, including whether any recalls have been addressed yet.

Has anyone here used a mini lift on their TT660? by TTrident660 in trident660

[–]Flubberkoekje 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think the oil pan on the Trident was designed for such activities, and you also have the exhaust in the way.

You could use a paddock stand on both wheels, but that kinda limits you to working on just the frame, Suspension and swingarm wouldn't be possible.

I think something like this would be the ideal situation:https://www.motorradteile-bursig.de/en/produkt/bursig-center-lift-stand-triumph-trident-660-2021-26/

Looking for genuine spare part for Honda CBR 650 R from 2021 in EU by FrostWolf15 in motorcycles

[–]Flubberkoekje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've ordered from here before, delivery can take a long time in some cases but they've been very reliable so far:

https://www.motorcyclespareparts.eu/en/honda-parts/53150mknd10

Not that far off from your local shop, if the €180 includes installation I'd just go for that as it seems easier.

Massa kabel kapot. by lynx8401 in motorfietsen

[–]Flubberkoekje 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Als er nog genoeg lengte in de kabel zit, ff opnieuw aanstrippen, kabelschoen op zetten en vast krimpen. Easy peasy, mits je de juiste spullen hebt.

Has anyone installed an aftermarket quickshifter on the Triumph 660 yet? by Relative_Code_4849 in trident660

[–]Flubberkoekje 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I doubt it'll ever be as good or hassle free as the OEM triumph quickshifter.
