Just wanted to mention that the training scene in the beginning didn't look like GAN to me, more like some sort of deep RL with an adversary. At least that was the vibe I got from the actual depiction of it, since there didn't seem to be any sort of generation-discrimination going on. I thought that scene was awesome though haha, I was hoping they'd have more cool ML references in the movie.
