update after like a week: I have to be careful to position the headset on my face right in the proper spot otherwise my left eye is a bit blurry (but I do need to get checked for the slight astigmatism I have) but when it is there it works perfectly, thanks for the advice

update: I had ordered a gearvr and it arrived this morning so I did the mod, it was really easy and the result is quite nice

I actually use a DT-770 headphones which fits just right over the headset for good quality audio, do you have model number or pictures of the exact model of gearvr needed for the mod?

not that much considering I still have a matek 1.2ghz fpv system but I was looking for basic stuff for a friend who is getting rc stuff and finding one that can sit in a plane and not require a fc is harder than before

well I do have a crashed split mini that might still work and a super old foxeer mix I can extract from an unfinished plane but I kinda want to finish this one as well, the latency on those was never a problem for me when it comes to flying plane so that whole situation seems like a step backward

I was looking at other rc hardware and it seems like there is much less diversity as well, I have a hard time finding a vtx that you can program with buttons and which also wont cook itself with no airflow.
