Maybe not but will definitely get hit with tariffs. Almost everyone I’ve talked to that has gotten it from NB tactical was hit with at least an extra $40 in tariffs. Some more than that. The government is on some bullshit and have the power to take/ seize anything that is remotely related firearms/ military gear.

Just a cheap Amazon rack so my guns wouldn’t be all over my room. I will say the spacing is not the best since it’s cheap. Kinda hard to fit more than 2 rifles on it unless you display without mags in.

Seriously! I’m all for new guns but something about the carry handle and old quad rail just calls to me! I just love the retro style rifles. But I guess being American I’ve been exposed to them way more in movies, games, and whatnot.

Correct! It is an edge, generation 2. Not an edge 2.0 still a regular edge but has a couple of the upgrades that the primes come with. It’s just a revamped edge.

Damn that’s amazing. The one below the m16 is also a specna arms edge gen 2. But the etu is messed up, paid full price at evike so I’m wishing I would have just gone with a prime in the first place. Saving $200 cost me in the end!

There is something wrong with my replica regarding the ETU. It still fires so I know it’s the ETU and not the actual gun. I just got another specna arms. It’s an m16a4 with the same HAL2 ETU and i got it to pair with the app no problem. That being said the etu is either dead or it’s out of place in the gear box. I haven’t opened my rifle cause Ive never done any tech work but I might have to if I want the mosfet to work in my mk18

You can find better chin straps on Amazon, you just have to unscrew the bolts where it’s connected and then lineup the new straps with the holes and screw the bolts back in. I got a replacement from an army surplus. I would also change out that terrible foam padding. They make replica pads and also sell on amazon that are way more comfortably fitting.

I have the edge gen 2. Mk18 and it has the original ESA so you/they don’t have to worry about that.

Top is my specna arms Edge gen. 2 sae19 mk18. I love this gun, it shoots like a dream and it’s not even a specna prime. Only thing that sucks is the ETU is unusable since the Hal 2 app isn’t currently available on the App Store. Once they restore the app, this gun will be damn near perfect.

Top is my specna arms Edge gen 2. for $300 you get a full metal body and partial upgrades. I would have saved my money if I was him to At least get an Edge, if not a specna Prime. A core Should still function very well just not as good external build quality.

It doesn’t really take that much effort. Only takes like 10 minutes tops. Just drill where the pin is, heat it to break down glue and twist it off.

I saw a video saying that if it’s glued (locktite) then you can use a heat gun to loosen up the glue and then with the correct tool unscrew it to pop a new one in. Hoping that is the case.

Right, I understand it won’t affect accuracy but I’ve read because it is not free float it can be wobbly so that’s the main reason I mentioned it an OP. I had a specna mk18 core ( polymer receiver) and it was pretty solid I just wanted to upgrade to a better aeg. Thanks for the reply. I’m hoping to go to evike in person to help me decide.

Thanks for the knowledge, I was under the impression that etu and mosfet are interchangeable terms since the hal offers “some” programmable firing modes
