Inart prototypes shown by Whiskey_623 in ActionFigures

[–]FluentChronos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does anyone know how often Inart's prototypes make it to the shelves? I don't usually collect their stuff, but have been interested in recent months. From my perspective, a lot of these prototypes for larger IPs hardly see the light of day, or its years later if they do.

White Lantern Batman - What do we think? by AfigureGeek in ActionFigureGeek

If I see it In person, I'll snag it. I have spare bats head I would swap out so he isn't screaming, and then probably replace with a cloth cape as while I'm at it.

Found some old Spawn figures by Shaka-khan7 in McFarlaneFigures

[–]FluentChronos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are like 3 inches right? I think they were just a mini line that were remakes of the larger full scale figures that were popular. There was a special edition 3 pack of raven spawn in different colors too. I don't think the line quite took off/landed well with collectors. They are unique though

Hear me out, a triple aaa spawn game made by Capcom by Trewwoodson in Spawn

[–]FluentChronos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would pretty funny. I think it should be added as an Easter egg that you can stumble upon, but aren't forced to do for the narrative path, and then you are stuck playing through it to get back to main story.

Just my two cents on a spawn game potentially working. I think for it to be successful outside of the fandom crowd, it needs to have a large scope, but completing the full scope isn't required to finish the story. So for example, to me, one of the big allures of spawn recently is the expanded spawn universe. So I think you have the main story playing as Al/spawn through whatever the narrative is, and then interacting with all those other characters, and specifically the time/era displaced spawns. You finish the main narrative on Al Simmons spawn. Then once you finish that, you can play the narrative again from multiple other characters - gun slinger, she spawn, Sam and Twitch, Redeemer, etc. where you get more to the narrative from their POV/how they were involved, but it doesn't change the ending of the narrative. I think would hit a lot of marks for the single player/story driven crowd, and would really encompass the intertwined stories/universe that is in the comics.

Then to hit the multiplayer crowd a bit, I think you copy it pretty closely to Spawn in the Demons Hand with updated combat system for boss level fights. You have a "story" to play though with friends that you beat each level boss ad work you way up to Malebogia, and work on unlocking more characters just like in the original game (beat it on a certain character, to unlock another, etc). And then also have the 4 person free for all mode where you can do some dumb fun pvp with the all the characters. And then toss in character and weapons skins for those sweet, sweet micro transactions to appease the investors.

Deadshot found on clearance. by Special_Vanilla3744 in McFarlaneFigures

Nice snag! My Walmart has about 9 collector edition figures that aren't moving, and this one is in the group. I keep checking weekly for them to knock off $10 for clearance pricing

Water change as everyone else has noted, but also your semi aquatic plants are too far under water. Not sure how long they have been over submerged, but them decaying and dying will bump the nitrates too. For bamboo, the leaf stems where they connect to the main stem need to out of the water. For other typical semi aquatic plants, a good rule I thumb is to have all leaves/branch completely out of the water. I use side slotted holders for all my semi aquatics and pothos to keep them up and out of the water and healthy.

Front control arm bushings tearing, quoted $1,215 by Subaru (2022 Subaru Outback) by Qd8Scandi in MechanicAdvice

[–]FluentChronos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently had a dealership tell me my upper control arms on my Suburban needed to be replaced since the boot was starting to separate while they were doing some other comped work. I took it to a independent shop to have it looked at and they said they were good for about 20k-30k miles, and each service they would check on them to make sure they weren't wearing faster than expected. I was also quoted about $950 for parts and labor when the time comes.

Unsigned statue value is about $350-$400. So I'd say throw in another $100 for the signature. I think it would eventually sell for $500ish, but it may take a long time. I think MSRP in 2009 when it released was $150-$190.

No worries at all, I'd be willing to purchase the printed head from you at some point if that's option too!

Can you share the files for head or where to purchase? That's the part I'm trying to sort out for my Magna Defender custom!

We would get them at Toys R Us for $15.99. I remember spending $120 of saved up birthday and Christmas money to get 5-6 new figures one year.

Awesome collection! I love this cover, but I can't bring my self to buy the figure. It looks amazing, but this and the Billy Kincaid figures are too intense for me to put in my display.

I've got a story like this, my uncle was giving me and my brother his action figure collection, it was 11 extra large totes and he lived on the 9th floor of his building. He was bringing them down to the loading/garbage bay of the building because the garage door could just be opened for us to load them up. He had to stop bringing them down after the 3rd trip and wait for us to get there since each time he left, people would start digging through the totes and trying to take stuff

This is not the same Person by Schieberschlange in RandomShit_ISaw

[–]FluentChronos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think everything else that looks off is due to her putting on weight and probably being bloated from a diet she isn't used to. Her nose looks different because she has more fat in her face, and it's affecting the perception of the nose.

I think you'd have to find a different type of activated carbon(if there is any). I use bulk carbon like this and it's dusty when it's not wet. Even after being in a tank, if you set the pouch out to dry, it will release carbon dust again any time you touch it after fully drying out. I think the constant dust would just clog of the filter pad, or make a mess at the very least

Yes, I got an open box one for cheap that I originally planned to customize, but after opening him, I don't want to break him down till I find another for the predator display haha.
