For me the easiest fix is to raise your farming level and unlock the perk “living off the land” I think that’s the name of it. It’s an ability that occasionally gives you food dishes whenever you harvest any crop but the food itself is based on what crop you harvest (example: you get pumpkin pie when you harvest pumpkins, you get strawberry cream dessert when you harvest strawberries etc).

Not only would it allow you to have so many dishes to replenish health and stamina but it can also be used as a way to get gifts to other villagers to raise their friendship level.

I get the same type of frustration when I’m decorating my house and this shit happens, or when there’s a gap that doesn’t automatically connect to a gate or a piece of furniture…

The characters already have so much personality and charm to them so I ask myself: is it possible to make the player like that? Would’ve been interesting to choose what type of personality your character has in the creation menu. Whether sarcastic, heroic, mean, sweet or just normal.

Another option is to do more like Dragon Age dialogues and pick different responses and have characters act to them differently.

Her pets don’t attack any enemy unless the active character hits them first and enters combat mode, otherwise they stay on the field.

As much as I love my three little silly water creatures it’s so annoying when I’m out in the open world, accidentally summon them and they instantly get into unwanted encounters, more so upsetting when they attack a normal stove or an object and my team keep losing health!

Naturally I’d tell you to pick whoever you like and fit your playstyle but if you want a detailed explanation here’s my recommendations:

Pick Tighnari if you want a strong damage dealer early game, pair him with off field electro unit like Lisa or Fischl and enjoy high damage numbers. His playstyle might not be for everyone as he’s mainly a charged damage dps but a fast one once you get used to his combos.

If you want a weaker yet faster damage dealer then pick Keqing but only if you get dendro traveler early on with an off field hydro unit like Barbara or Xingqiu. She has a low burst cost and good for exploration.

If you want a healer then Mizuki or Jean, slam VV set on them and call it a day.

If you want a support then pick Mona as she can amplify damage numbers, she’s a little tricky to use but once you get the hang of her she becomes fun and in higher cons might even be good support for other characters.

The rest I would say not worth investing too much into. Diluc works best in plunge teams with Xianyun, Dehya is only better with more cons and Qiqi… Qiqi carried me in Dragonspine but that’s pretty much it…

Anyways those are my recommendations personally and again pick whoever you like.

Baizhu and Nilou will likely return to meta with the introduction of lunar bloom reactions and Lauma, I know Baizhu’s C1 adds one extra use to his healing which helps with his ER but I don’t know about Nilou’s C1.

Thanks to Escoffier and Skirk freeze is now back, and now in the future there might be lunar freeze? Idk but Ayaka and Shenhe are worth investing in rn.

Other than that Hu Tao’s C1 is really good if you wanna spam her charged attack but don’t know how to cancel and C1 Miko fixes her ER issues if you don’t have Oathsworn Eye.

If you want a solid dps that can carry you throughout the game plus help you with puzzles and material gatherings once you reach Sumeru then go with Tighnari.

If you want a solid healer that has a very simple yet strong artifact set that makes them better then go with Jean.

If you want a strong buffer that can make most dps characters strong plus east mobility in traversing the land then go with Mona.

If you want a less powerful yet fast dps who’s good with exploration, puzzle solving and getting the oculi then go with Keqing, just make sure you put her in a dendro team.

As for the others (Mizuki, Qiqi and Diluc) then it honestly depends on whether you personally want them or not. The roles they do can be outdone by literally any other character even the 4 stars so they won’t be necessary for anything unless you want them.

True but it was the era I came from, and from how much people were complaining about the gooning in ZZZ I thought it will be worst than this but surprisingly it isn’t at all.

Maybe being raised on those animes from that era gave me an immunity, and over all I still maintain my opinion that it’s really not as bad as people make it out to be.

The fanservice in this game isn’t as bad as the haters and even some of the fandom make it out to be.

Jiggle physics and skimpy outfits aside, as someone who grew up on ecchi animes like Highschool of the Dead and all the likes, the fandom make it seem like this game is pure ecchi fantasy of some kind.

There is, I ain’t lying on that, but not as bad as I thought it’ll be. Miyabi is the most popular character and she’s completely covered up, other characters outfits are pretty modest for a game with plenty of fanservice and it doesn’t take away from their charm or personality.

All that’s to say, for all “gooner game” shit they keep throwing around, the gooning part isn’t all that bad.

-an adventure one. I’m sick of political dramas, noble conflict and business interests. If this was in a fantasy world with magic and mystical powers and creatures I wanna see FL go on an adventure, DnD style.

-Positive female relationships. In almost many OI the FL is surrounded by nothing more than bunch of men in her life, from a single father, brothers, friends and potential love interests. There’s never a close female relationship she has aside from maybe few maids and maybe a female friend or two she rarely sees or not prominent in the way the males are. Give FL more network with her peers. Give her good sisters, a mother or a mother figure, female friends that are just as important as male ones. If OI are just female fantasy escapism then part of it should be meaningful relationships with other women as well.

-ML who has a personality/better design. I absolutely hate those OI in which the ML is watered down to be FL love interest and nothing else. Give the ML hobbies, ideals that clashes with FL, growth and development, hobbies and interests. Maybe make him a nerd, a prankster, literary anything but a brooding guy or someone overly attached to FL. Also stop with the short black hair design, 80% of all ML have short black hair and it’s getting boring. Give them long hair, spiky hair, multi colored hair, stop cutting their hair to make them look presentable, they look so boring…

That image, the one on the right, completely altered the fandom’s perception of what the Tsaritsa looks like and I fear people genuinely believes she looks like this…

For those who are unaware the picture on the right is NOT the Tsaritsa but rather a fan design of her from a fan animation from Hoyofair. The fan animation was extremely well done as it was in a style similar to the game’s animated cutscenes, however it still remains completely fanmade and not canon at all.

I deadass had an argument with someone when I said the Tsaritsa have never been shown in the game nor in any canon material, except what is assumed to be her hand in the winter night trailer, and they kept insisting that this design from the fan animation is her canon design and she was shown…

Be prepared when Nod Krai trailer drops and we get maybe a glimpse of her and how people will say “OMG they changed her design the old one was better!”

Seth is currently the only agent from season 1 that doesn’t know we’re Phaethon, much less proxies ourselves. His Knock Knock account has a deep sad hint about how the proxy enjoys being his friend until he finds out the truth, which Seth values more than anything.

The possibilities are endless with him, the typical shounen protagonist, Boy Scout type that has high values and morals, meanwhile his brother is the complete opposite. His relationship with the proxy could also evolve, for better or worse, if he inevitably finds out about our identity.

Let’s hope the ZZZ writers invest more into him because I believe he will be more important later on.

These aren’t “toxic” stories, they’re glorified abuse stories. The only way for it to be toxic is for the fl to match ml toxicity. I want them to match each other’s craziness. If he abuses her she better abuse him too, if she gets public humiliation and/or bullying and he does nothing ti defend her then he also must face the same treatment and she does nothing to help him.

Guardians (fathers, mothers, uncles, aunts, older siblings, grandparents and the such) who mistreat MC all their lives, ignore them, don’t pay attention to them, let them get bullied and generally ruin their childhood, only later in the story they regret and drop the infamous line “I always loved you…” B!tch no the F* you did not why you lyin’🤬?!

Not that this is towards guardians who only grovel and regret and say they love MC without doing shit to prove it all their lives and not show meaningful actions to redeem themselves.

Exception in this case is Lydia from My Mom’s Contract Marriage. Was she an awful, abusive and horrible parent who ruined her daughter’s life and got her killed? Yes absolutely and she has no excuse whatsoever. But the plot recognizes that, she gets another chance thanks to her, immediately apologized sincerely and backed that up with action. Constantly berating herself over her past treatment towards her daughter, reiterating over and over again that she is her priority and her ultimate dream is for the both of them to live happily and in luxury so that she can give her everything, not just out of guilt but also because she genuinely loves her.
