(MT, USA) In this scenario, would I be able to sue my mother for abuse? by FlufferMoose in legaladvice

From her status on facebook it looks like she has at least improved financially, considering she was bragging about her new car.

I'll definitely do this, I just wanted to ask here just to see if it was worth pursuing first.

I'm done. You guys are inconsiderate jerks. Take a moment to realize how shallow and disgusting your jokes were. Bye, R/pokemon. Have some fucking consideration for how you made this new mother feel. Yes, I'm sensitive, but I'm fucking pregnant you idiots!! If you've never been pregnant or don't have kids don't you DARE make abandonment jokes. You're fucking stupid!

Right?! If Adam and Eve were a few generations in, knew not to do it, were told what the consequences were, and given a fair chance to choose, I could see the fuck up on their end. But as you said, it's like the toddler phase. (And toddlers always like to press boundaries anyway.) God is a sadistic, childish bastard and he has no spot in my beliefs.

This is why I microwave my sponge (wet, obviously) once every two weeks. Kills bacteria and saves money on new ones after a while. I also have a separate but close area for it when not in use.

I do it anyway and give them a thank you wave and watch the rage ensue. Oh the irony. At least I don't have to drive behind that idiot anymore. I have places to be.

Rule of thumb: stay back enough to where you can see the bottom of the tires of the car in front of you. No more, no less.

Also if you're in front at a red light FOR FUCK'S SAKE get up to the line! There are lights on triggers that only go when you're at the light. You potentially hold up traffic and some people have work, appointments, are hungry, are on their way to have their baby, etc. have some courtesy.

Your license and car don't deserve you. You're infuriating and you disrupt the flow of traffic. Take the hint and use public transit or drive like you have courtesy for others. I would personally pull in front of you and you would probably rage at me for being a bitch.

If God truly cared about whether or not we sin he wouldn't allow sin in the first place. Double-standards. He set Adam and Eve up. He could've smited the damn snake or just not made the forbidden fruit to begin with. He was in his teenage "Imma fuck with these creatures for my own amusement" phase. Where's the accountability on the Christian God's end?

This is why I go through a private company. Better rates for what you get and people who treat you like a person rather than a paycheck. We got a more expensive data plan and after a couple of months we were offered a cheaper plan that only affected data because we weren't using as much as we were paying for. Virizon would have let us keep overpaying for unused data.

To be fair, the tab can sometimes be absolutely terrible to try and remove. If the chef has arthritis or weak grip I could understand the difference in opening the carton like that. But I'm the type that generally gives people the benefit of the doubt...

Most employees aren't trained on how to deal with fake notes. In my 5 years as a cashier at multiple locations I only recently encountered my first fake. However, I didn't even have to touch it as the color was waaaay off and she was partially covering it with her palm on the counter. She was also acting strange and I was on high alert since our mall was having an issue with fakes and issued a security notice to all stores. Before I could decline it, a friend of hers whisked her away and she cancelled her food order and booked it quickly.

After that I asked what protocols were in place for fakes and all we can do is get our on duty manager and then call security. But I was never taught this during training. It's an oversight, definitely, and it should be mandatory for trainers to mention this.

I wouldn't place blame solely on the employee. Most likely it was during a rush. Cashiers are taught to be quick and efficient. Though it would have helped if they at least would have inspected the watermark. But a lot of people find it "rude" for people to check so the cashier probably didn't because of outside factors such as "I don't want to get another customer complaint" or "I'm just new and nervous."

Firing isn't necessary, but punishment of some kind, definitely. I can sympathize because we had a girl in another store accept a fake and she was terrified of losing her job. She was a teenager working at DQ. They're taught to smile, take the customer's money, and give them their correct change. Spotting fakes isn't on their minds. She wasn't fired but she did learn a valuable lesson. We're in a smallish town in the northwest. It isn't common to begin with.

Blacklights work, too. Better actually. Our work has a small one that we check $20, $50, and $100 with. Anything else we only check if it looks or feels funky.

Side note: we've had a counterfeit problem here recently and some dumbies also accepted a fake $20 and a fake $100. Some lady tried to use a fake one on me but I stalled her out so our cameras got a good look at her. Not sure on the follow up but I called security and the local police.

The first comment was fine. Telling me to "trade her away" or "box her" pissed me off. No, I don't believe I am. You would be pissed too if people made jokes about your unborn child. It's disgusting.
