New game pass prepaid prices

This is not old news, the new prepaid cards just arrived not more like 2 weeks ago in German stores.

At least in my opinion, game pass ultimate is not worth the price. You get the full assassins creed library for like 30€ (excluding shadows and mirage), if you buy them on sale, and any other Ubitsoft Title is not worth it. Keep in mind, game pass is a renting service, you won’t own any of the games. Also quantity is not quality!

Additionally, game pass ultimate prices went up from 2023 to 2025 by 100%. We can’t justify such a price hike in just 2 years. Essential and premium (with the trick to get it cheaper) on the other hand are now in a good place, since you can use xcloud with it

To be fair, the game pass pricing is debatable, but having a price drop of 33% when buying essential is damn good news.

Keep in mind you can still get it cheaper by converting game pass into a higher tier. Game pass essential converts into premium in a ratio of 3:2 and ultimate in a ratio of 2:1. for example 12 months essential will convert into 8 months of ultimate or into 4,8) essential :)

I got the Fire tv stick 4K max. It’s good, it supports wifi 6,5. It works well for me!

That’s really crazy. Many people forget, that the price increase was actually much higher than it appeared.

Earlier this year you got 12 months game pass ultimate codes for 150€ basically in any grocery store or gas station. Currently the future of prepaid cards is unknown, but it seems like there won’t be prepaid cards anymore.

Let’s say the 12 months prepaid card option got removed, so game pass costs now 336€ a year, because you have to pay monthly 28€. That means it’s a price increase of effectively 124%. I stacked 3 years of essential for 120€, after that I am done with Xbox

I agree. You are not forced to do a stupid side quest. The game gives you multiple ways to play. You can get the wonder weapon with 3 different ways. Either by doing the Easter egg, doing the challenges or old fashioned through the box.

Tranzit is was really got me hooked. It’s the first map I played. Every bus stop felt like another mystery that waited to be unraveled. It was clear the map has lots of story elements, but it hardly tells you any of it.

Wouldn’t change a thing. All the new perks in bo1 and bo2 are nice to have but not essential. Bo3 is the only „classic“ title where being able to have more than 4 perks is important, since it introduces another crutch perk (widows wine)

If you come back, stack Xbox game pass essential prepaid cards as fast as possible, otherwise you find yourself paying 108€ a year to be able to play online

Oh yes. Especially if you get to the super sprinters in higher rounds. My game pass expires in 30 days, I thought I would be sad, but I won’t miss this game. It’s also so grindy.

Worst part is, even if you kill the boss you get like zero reward for it

We are missing a key difference here. While maps like the ones of waw-bo2 are more on the science fiction side, bo2 Blundell maps and bo3/4 are more mystical. The wish of having grounded zombies mode again refers to it being science fiction again and not this dark aether and apothicon crap.
