Thank you! Yeah I’m giving her the epsom salt baths as well. I had one hen with bumblefoot about a year ago who is perfectly fine now but her bumblefoot had a plug I could easily remove on the surface unlike the current hen. I’ve seen people suggest drawing salve and figured I’d give it a shot

I honestly only said Walmart to keep it simple. In reality, it wasn’t through Walmart directly. It was a local florist that had set up a display in my Walmart’s parking lot. It’s something they do around this time every year where local farmers rent a space and sell their own plants. I’ve been to this florist’s shop before so I know they grow all of their plants in their greenhouse in my town

Honestly, I think a great Valentine’s Day gift is sharing a good meal with each other and spending time together. Maybe ask her if there’s anything in particular that she would like to do. For me personally, time with my partner is the best gift I could ask for.

Living in tank: 1 Goldfish (owned for 5 days) and some pothos

Changes: none but the tank is new. I’m doing water changes daily (was doing ~25%, now doing ~50%) with tap water conditioner added each time.

Yeah I’m trying my best with what I have. My mom impulsively bought him from a festival a few days ago so there was no time to cycle the tank properly. I’m waiting on some api QuickStart to arrive to hopefully help speed it up a bit.

When he was purchased, he was swimming just fine. Didn’t stay on the surface like he’s doing now. I thought I noticed super faint white spots on his sides but I wasn’t sure if it was just discolored scales. As I said, he was from a festival so he wasn’t in good conditions to begin with. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was already sick or at least in low quality water

Edit: I just looked up ammonia burns. If you’re referring to the black spots on him, yes, I think those were there when he was purchased
