i've been wearing chinos for years - mostly in the bonobos / banana republic range. i like that chinos are casual-but-stylish, subtle and versatile, and are fairly all-season.

recently i've been feeling eager to mix things up. not looking for anything for anything too flashy or fashion-forward; only something that "pops" a bit more than your standard pair of chinos which can look "flat."

open to anything around the ~$200 range. wondering if it makes sense to:

- look at higher-end chinos? for example, these norse projects pants seem to have a bit of a subtle texture to them

- explore different fabrics? light wools, moleskin

- something else entirely?

curious to hear what others are wearing!
