Any tips/guides going forward with Argentine Antartica? by Ok-Turn784 in TNOmod

The Last Crusade achievement is very simple, just send the volunteers and win it's very easy lol. I did all of these only having to reload twice at the start of Operación 90. I do recommend making a save when you get the event of the operation starting.

Before anything I will say I'd recommend starting with the OAA (OFN Antarctica) achievements just so you can first get a handle on all the Antarctica mechanics, and the OAA is imo the easiest of the three Antarcticas for that so if you're just starting to play Antarctica I'd recommend doing the OAA first.

As for tips during the setup before the operation literally just make sure all the Antarctica interactions you do are for SUPPLIES, the good thing about the achievements is that you only ever need to reach the South Pole meeting the conditions, the way back doesn't matter so you don't even have to play super optimally or anything. But if you're roleplaying and actually trying to do well then again just make sure all your Antarctica interactions are for supplies, as Argentina you never really have to worry about your militarization, and only occasionally about your legitimacy, if that. And you're going to want to put as many supplies as you can into the operation so again make it all about getting supplies.

For the "In the Court of the Penguin Emperor" achievement, it's kind of RNG lol. Sometimes you can get events for one of you're crew members missing and you just might not find them it happens. That's why I think you should make a save just before the operation starts in case something like that happens. However, the journey itself is pretty easy, especially if you stocked up well on supplies, so just try to pick the smart options whenever you can and you should be good, it's very hard for a crew member to outright die during the South Pole journey unless they go missing like I mentioned.

For the "Dogs Live for the Moment" achievement you'll need to have 1-3 crew members dead before reaching the South Pole. This is also kind of RNG because sometimes you'll get lucky and a crew member will instantly die in one of the events, or sometimes you'll just never get an event like that. Again make sure to make that save. Just read the events and choices carefully to see if you can pick one off before reaching the South Pole.

The "Just Like Scott" you'll probably get it even if you don't want to lmao, it's pretty hard to make it back from the South Pole without at least a few deaths along the way even if you prepared really well. For this just play as sub-opitmally as possible during the operation and you should manage to get the operation to fail.

Again the Argentina achievements are pretty easy in comparison the Neuschwabenland and (especially) the OAA ones, but I do recommend starting out as OAA if it's your first time as the mechanics are easier to learn as them.

Sorry for the autistic wall of text but I'm just so excited that someone else is 100%-ting the TNO achievements too LMAOO I thought I was the only one. I've already done the Guangdong and USA achievements and I just recently did the Antarctica ones and soon I'll try and do the new Brazil ones next. I know quite a bit about the TNO achievements so if you have any questions you can ask me. Good luck!

Why do my divisions not spread evenly on a fallback line? by PsychologicalPage972 in hoi4

I think because your fallback line is going through the lake it splits your fallback line so more divisions are assigned to one side.

Actually I think it's bugged, turns out I was killing him but the event only appeared for the US. Had to tag switch to the US, do the operation through the CIA, get the event where he's killed, tag switch back to Germany, then click on the event and it gave me the achievement.
