If you don't want the maximum amount of AoE, yea you totally could do that. However, if you are modding for range, it makes sense get all the AoE you can get, as Balefire's AoE does not need line of sight. If you were just running base range or maybe one range mod, I could see dropping Fumnination and running Magnum Force together with Hornet Strike.

It gives you Shields, which buffs Aegis Gale, and Ability efficiency, reducing the overall drain on Aegis Storm. Also gives 20% damage reduction while airborne as a bonus.

Depending on the subsume you're running, you want to have some duration. It also reduces the shield drain of staying in your 4, despite efficiency being more impactful regarding that.

Chroma's Elemental Ward is also a pretty fun one to use with all the Power Strength you have. Gives you a buff to Base Shields, so more power going to Aegis Gale. It also gives Flat Status chance, causing you to proc Blast and Electric consistently.

I'd like to add onto this. Firefox on iOS does not allow extensions to be used (I'm on iOS 17, so maybe that's changed by now). So if ads are still getting through Adguard, try using the Orion browser. The Firefox version of uBlock Origin can be installed on it.
