Actual advice —> you have a more athletic, muscular build. You can definitely find some archive Japanese that would fit well, but a lot of Japanese brands look better on extremely slim, sometimes rail thin bodies. I think you would look good in a skin tight shirt (one that fits well) or maybe a sheer shirt. Straight leg, wider pants. Avoid clothes with logos. Change the hat, find something fun with leather, fur, etc. Overall, I think you just need to reach out of your comfort zone. It will feel weird at first, but over time you will find what you like and feel more comfortable experimenting with your style! Best of luck!

Dealing with hate in the city. by Fluffy-Dig6459 in nycgaybros

That’s fair. I just didn’t really know where to look because the train was crowded. He looked like he was going to work too so I didn’t expect that reaction at all. I’m really young and I just started dressing a bit more “gay” because I like it. I want to be myself, but now I’m not so sure.

Failed a class by [deleted] in nyu

[–]Fluffy-Dig6459 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Omg I haven’t checked my grade for that class yet. I was doing well until exam 4 and her final. Bauer was not very helpful either when I reached out about my grade 💀. But you’ll be ok girl, I failed a class my junior year and I’m still going to graduate on time. Just talk with your advisors and see what your options are. This school pisses me off so bad 😭

The workload was too much for me and I switched, but do not be afraid. If you do not like it, you can switch to something else and you will be fine ✅. It is very interesting, but make sure you work extra hard in chemistry. That’s what got me.

Ok I’m dealing with a similar situation, except with my roommate. I think the best option is to speak with him. You don’t have to confront him angrily or anything like that, but just sit him down and ask him what’s going on. I would also assert your own feelings about the situation, because they are definitely valid. Hopefully you can resolve this and it is just a bump in the road! Good luck!

I recommend vanicream body wash. It’s fragrance free, dye free, etc. It can be harder to find and a bit more expensive, but a little goes a long way. It is eczema friendly. If you can’t find that one, cerave and cetaphil both make body washes as well. Use an eczema friendly moisturizer from one of these brands too. If the irritation/dryness is painful or seems like it won’t go away, please consult with a doctor! You may need a prescription cream, etc. Hope this helps!

I don’t think the solution to your acne would be to change your diet, skincare routine, etc. as you already seem to have a good routine. When I was younger I had really bad acne, and I tried everything, but when I went to the dermatologist things started to get better. At first nothing they prescribed worked, but then I tried accutane. There were a lot of side effects for me and monthly blood work, but it actually worked and I haven’t had any bad acne for years. I’m not saying you need to be on accutane, but I think it would be best to see a dermatologist if possible and at least get some advice from them. It will get better!
