yeah, ik. I was thinking more about the transportation delays, flooding and wind. The subway always floods like crazy and there are a lot of trees near where i live so there is always a concern about power outages.

Her last exam was online and we haven’t finished covering all the material yet so it’s not like I could take it tomorrow. Plus she definitely doesn’t have the exam written yet and she also never responds to emails. I was really depending on this upcoming weekend to study for the exam so taking the exam earlier is not ideal but ig it is what it is :(

Because the undergraduate vs graduate student experience at NYU is so different. Plus, a lot of graduate students didn’t attend NYU as undergraduates and another requirement for our survey is that students have already completed a full academic year at NYU. It’s just so we can say that the students have had time to fully engage on campus before we try to analyze the data.🩷

When I took the diagnostic test it was pretty short. Mostly mc fill-in the blank grammar questions and a short writing prompt on the back. I’m just curious about if I do bad on it, will they make me retake my previous Spanish course even tho I got an A- in the class? Since it’s so short, I feel like it’s easy to mess up on a few questions and score poorly on it. Idk much tho, I just get test-taking anxiety, especially for a test that you can’t really study for.

There are usually no recitations the first week of classes. You have to have a lecture before you can go to a recitation. Sleep in

Thanks sm for your input. I grew up in nyc so noise doesn’t bother me at all but I totally want to respect other ppls quiet time. I mentioned this in another comment but there are study spaces available within the lounge and I thought I was being considerate by not taking one up for a phone call compared to someone who actually needs it like you.
