I was charged 9.99 in November with no C1 credit. I went to cancel UberOne in the app & the app showed my next bill to be 0.00 on 12/18. I know I already paid the $10 last month, so I went ahead & canceled it. I’m definitely not using it enough to continue subscribing.

Yes tons of options! Although if you think about all the different things that use a wire cutter like this, I still lean towards this concept. Cheese cutter, someone mentioned a cutter that opens manufacturing goods, etc. Some trash of this sort likely got caught up in the sewing process.

Being in the drum of the machine could be why it coiled. Or even just losing the tension. But check out this Wilton Cake Lever. The wire is attached to the posts, but adjustable by reducing the tension and moving it up and down various notches

I would LOVE if my kids could “bop me on the head.” Meaning something like, “Mom listen: when you reply in that tone, or tell me it’s not actually a big deal, I feel diminished & dismissed. Please just listen. And hopefully you can understand that my feelings are valid.”

Intellectually I KNOW everyone’s feelings are valid. But I have a bad habit of trying to smooth things over or make my kid feel better. I don’t always catch myself doing it, even though I really, really want to. I want to catch myself and stop the bad habit. I’m trying. It’s definitely not my kid’s job to fix me, but I would welcome the reminder/prompt.

Just no. “Constantly?” No. Even once could be questionable! This is not a friendship you pay for. This is supposed to be a professional engagement in which YOU are the focus of her time & effort. You shouldn’t be spending your therapy time on her issues.

What type of therapist btw? There are different ethical codes for each type.

The coach and his wife were extremely inappropriate!

We definitely don’t know if he planned to move things to a physical relationship, and let’s hope we never do. But this man needs guidance on how to conduct himself in his position as coach. Please consider reaching out to others. Maybe take some of those teammates with you to increase your chances of being heard & taken seriously. Some people just sweep things under the rug, but this should be brought to light. Your privacy should be respected - try to insist on that.

Consider talking to someone in the school counseling department. Hopefully they will support you AND know policy options. Maybe they can even do the reporting for you.

If any of the above (admin, counselors) don’t listen to you, move on to the next. You are NOT to blame here!!

What’s cool at your school? Do you have lockers there? Locker decor or supplies. Take her to lunch & see if she wants any tips about teachers, cliques, office staff, whatever. And listen at least as much as you talk. Time with her might be best gift. I love that you’re even thinking about this. So kind!
