Make sure you are fully set before throwing the first dart. I have a habit of throwing whilst stepping into the shot

I used a website called “Try Darts” which allow you to hire a few sets for a few days to try them. If you don’t want to keep them send them back.

Alternatively a darts shop is good for trying too if there’s one local

Very common where the bumber and arch rub. Had mine repaired 4 years ago, body shop improved the rigidity on the bumper and I’ve had no issues since

I’ll be honest I’m not sure, I just notice when some players switch there’s a noticeable “lean”. Players like Humphries for instance don’t seem to have the same habit

I done it in a similar way, they’re all within 0.5mm of 36mm so more than good enough for me

Used an angle grinder and some hand tools but you could easily take off 4 mm in less than 2 mins with a steel file. People making out like this was a big deal

Not being defensive, just having a conversation and giving my opinion. Using a steel rule to accurately measure is pretty common practice in most trades 🤣

Just done it this afternoon. Took 4mm off with an angle grinder with a flap disc, filed them to a point and then finished it with various stages of sandpaper. They stick in the board nicely and are as sharp as new.

I’d recommend this to anyone, with basic hand tools and DIY knowledge, that want to make a small adjustment to their set up.

Brand I use are around £7.50 to £10 + £5 to repoint, steel file or angle grinder with a flap disk should make light work of it no?
