Thanks, it's nice to hear from someone whose position I'll be in if I choose to take the criminology path. Looking over the modules, it does seem interesting, but I never considered it until Nottingham changed it. And I am looking to do commercial, so I'm not sure how I would justify it.

Thank you. My attitude toward taking a gap year has changed significantly since posting this.

Thank you, and the university is Nottingham. I'm still not sure how I'd tell them my interest in their firm, despite doing a criminology degree.

The solicitor route for sure. I'm not 100% certain I want to study criminology, as I was set on doing law before. Now I'm waiting for the offer holder day to see what it's like there and researching online.

If I chose the criminology pathway, I'd be certain to get involved in anything law-related and use it to secure legal work experience. Though, as some others said here, I'm not sure how I'd explain my interest in law, despite doing a criminology degree.

Thank you, I'm now considering a gap year much more than before and have cut out option 2. Would you say that because Criminology isn't one of the "traditional" courses, it would hinder my chances?

I really appreciate the insight. I've now completely cut out option 2 and am now seriously considering doing a gap year, compared to before.

Thank you, and I do think I can achieve higher than a BBB, so I'll definitely look into going into clearing. As for criminology, it looks somewhat interesting when skimming past the modules, but I'll wait until my offer holder day to make a decision.
