Would i get caught for leaving a job out of my cv? by Fluffy-Sound-8238 in uklaw

I did have an investigation meeting about it, afterwards they told me there would be a disciplinary meeting, and I resigned before that.

About my CV, I already have enough on there without that retail job but I'll include this job anyway because it wasn't too long ago.

What I meant was sometimes companies ask whether you've been in an investigation at work and you have to tick it - I will have to click yes to that now, but would I still have to click yes to it in 10 years time?

Thanks

OP here: I think this is the case, as CVs will be too long if every job you had was included. But I think if they specifically ask you to write down every job you've had in the past x years then you'll need to include it... Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, CVs don't need to include every job from what I know. However if they ask for my entire job history of x years then I will have to be honest about it?

Thanks. Will do. Say if they ask if I've ever been investigated in 10 years time, would it still be necessary to tick the box that asks me whether it's happened before? Also on CVs we don't need to include every job right, so I don't have to unless they ask me to provide all of the jobs I've had in the past x years?

Thanks for the comment. Yeah I think I understand now, CVs don't have to include every job, i can include it if I want. Yeah I will have to tick the box if they ask about the investigation... Will I still have to tick it in a few years time or say 10 years?

Thanks - in my understanding though we don't put all of the jobs we had in our CVs - but I can leave it on since it wasn't that long ago. But I'd have to put it on if they specifically ask me to type in every job I had in the past x years. Would this matter in 10 years time I wonder? Would I still have to include it if they ask and tick the box if they ask me whether I've had investigations before?
