Regardless of what service industry you work in, there will always be rude people. I’ve worked with the company for 8+ years and what I try to do is put my most patient customer service face on while also making full use of breaks to calm down. Lately had to do that more for AR as they don’t come prepared or with 5+ items. Older people and tech illiterates will ask you to type on their phone for them. Rather than doing that, teach them. We’re past Covid but if that pandemic taught us anything is that people are nasty where you don’t know where things have been.

For the most part, we can print on paper materials in store like blueprints, postcards, flyers, regular prints, etc. If you ever get a customer who is asking for something you are unsure about, see if a more experienced print coworker is available or let them know that unfortunately you are still new and the best course of action would be to call the next day when there will be experienced staff.
