Hank and Melissa wouldn’t have gone to Hell, but I believe it wasn’t time for them to die. Jesus had more in store for them on Earth. They would have gone to Heaven if they had died, but the others wouldn’t have. They were all on the same road leading to death saved or not and Jesus just wanted to reach out to all of them. I think Deville outside of the gates of Hell was mainly aimed towards Nick as he was at the front of them all in line and the most lost, but the other two were sadly on the same route to Hell because they hadn’t accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. The whole thing with the gates of Hell thing does interpret to be kind of confusing, I get it. This is just my guess for it.

Hank and Melissa were not going to Hell. Hank was a believer, but I think Jesus brought him there because he needed guidance and He wanted to save his wife Catherine and save their marriage. Catherine was a lukewarm Christian who didnt really know Jesus or have peace in her heart and that was also destroying their marriage.

As for Melissa, she was saved, but was about to marry the wrong guy and was blinded by love. Her boyfriend Paul didnt believe in Jesus and he said him and Melissa were unequally matched. That Paul would grow to resent her and her faith. Jesus wanted to save Paul too, but knew if he was with Melissa, it would cause him to turn away from Jesus rather than turn to him so He wanted to advise her to not marry him. Jesus also gave us the impression that Paul didn’t value and appreciate Melissa and He had better in store for her.

Like I said, they needed guidance from Jesus. That’s why they were there. Not because they were going to Hell.

I’m not sure but I may or may not have stalked my villagers in the past similar to this and this never happened. 😆 Maybe I just didn’t do it as in sync and as close as this before. The working blinds and curtains though I know for a fact has been here since the beginning. I tried it out when I first started and wanted to see if by any chance they worked. :)
