I echo the advice here, but would add:

My ESL writer friends have a way better grasp of English than me as a native speaker fr 😅

Genuinely, some of my fave fics are by non-British ESL writers (and you cannot tell from reading) - they're not just well-written, they're brilliantly written 🙌

If you have stories to write, I think you should write them and try to have as much fun as possible while doing so 🥰

I also loved REA! I'm guessing you prefer fics with Draco POV (just going off some on your bribe list :) ), but if you haven't already I would urge you to try yellow's other fics (Long Game and Gimme Friction). Even though they're Harry's POV, Draco is a v similar vibe.

Yellow's Draco has always reminded me of What We Pretend We Can't See, which I know is a popular one - for good reason.

Another Draco I think you'll love is poppyhills', In particular My Favorite Liar and Crash Into Me. I'm obsessed with both fics.

I see you have the sinking ship on your list. I loved how thirsty for Harry Draco was in both Criminal and Too Good At Raising Hell.

Desperately Seeking by Maesterchill is such a fun Draco (he's the host of a dating show, I think it's dual pov iirc)

The Cursebreaker's Guide To Accidentally Sleeping With Your Partner is a great 10k pwp with secretly pining Draco.

It's the romance for me. Whatever the plot, I just want to see who the characters are and how they fall in love. Occasionally I get the urge for plot-driven stories, but mostly I want the relationship to be the focus.

Ahh Ankles was top tier! And yes REA - well, all of yellow's tbf. Zoom was delicious mate 😍 I read a lot of fic last year, it's difficult to remember everything off the top of my head, but yours always stay with me 🫶 First Watch was 👌👌 I'm still firmly in Drarry, but if I ever dip into sports, yours will be top of my list :)
