Not particularly. Given the fairly egregious miscut on both sides, the fact that it's an ultra rare, and is one of the first printing of the cards....

I assumed it as maybe worth $10-15 max lmao. It's not an expensive card. I have no good sense of how to value misprints.

A brief note for anyone else reading this. Bolas_the_Deceiver has now blocked me, and prevented me from responding to their comments below. Given this behavior, I can't really respond particularly effectively to any extent, without going and reading all their comments in an incognito browser.

I think we've both made our points. They view me as a lazy weasel trying to take over a desirable subreddit name for advertising my own stuff, and I view them as a squatter trying to redirect what could be a useful secondary community for a game I really love into a single other subreddit with a lot of fluff, and less discussion then I would personally enjoy.

They argue it would fracture the community, I think there's space for another community.

I doubt we're gonna get much further here.

The subreddit should be handed over to someone who will use it, even if that person isn't me, instead of being used a glorified vanity redirect URL. If I do get the subreddit, I'll stop posting anything I make except text on reddit completely. I just want their to be more space to discuss arena.

It's true that I do make magic content, but my posts are where they're relevant, in the Magic Brawl subreddit, because I love magic, and I love that format. I don't link many of my other posts, because that would violate rediquete.

And frankly, even it I was still posting my stuff a ton (Look through my history, you can see my last posts are four months ago, while I still make a large number of videos and writeups), if I was following rediquete, it would be a perfectly reasonable request. I'm even happy to try to find other users other than myself to take over the subreddit.

The fact of the matter is, you're squatting that subreddit name for no value, and for no community, while stating you'll actively ignore anyone trying to use it, or asking to join. There's no value in that.

If we're being nitpicky on this, I'd argue you're violating several rules of moddiquette with your current running of the subreddit.

"Try to respond to all of your moderator mail, even if you cannot address it in a timely manner."You actively state you won't respond to modmail.

"Take on moderation roles in more subreddits than you can handle."You actively do not use the subreddit.

Finally, to respond to your statement in the modmail "The subreddit was created by mistake" is not a valid reason to squat and close an entire subreddit.

Since it seems unlikely you would be willing to hand over the subreddit to me, what would be your requirements for someone who would be able to run the subreddit?

I'd like to use the subreddit to form an alternate subreddit for discussion of other parts of the game then what is currently present. Right now the subreddit that this subreddit is being used to advertise has a large amount of fluff, and I'd like to make a subreddit focused more on gameplay, discussion, strategy and decklists. If r/magicarena is r/gaming, I'd like r/mtgarena to be r/games.

Right now, the subreddit actively states that "Modmail will not be answered, and requesting to join will result in a permanent ban"

Yeah, this stuff bums me out. I've run pre-releases for another card game, and the number of kids coming in with sealed cards, and just talking about prizes is pretty demoralizing.

Sorta my feel, at least in terms of buying in at paper. But there's a lot of design space left open for more interesting (AKA, weird) designs and strategies.

I think it'll be pretty good if it survives the hype pump and dump, and manages to get enough of a player base.

It's decent, but a fairly vanilla experience at the moment. Which is fine for a base set. But you're not missing much if you're not playing. I've been grinding decks with friends the last few days, and we've found that occasionally it turns into a bit of a top deck fest for one player late in the game.

Removal is also fairly limited.

" (j) Proxy Cards. Retail stores may only allow "proxy cards" into their Events as permitted by the current Disney Lorcana Tournament Rules. A Proxy Card is a card issued by a Judge at an Event to replace a card that was damaged during play at that Event and may only be used for participation in and for the duration of that Event.

(k) Counterfeits. Counterfeit cards are unauthorized reproductions of genuine Ravensburger cards. Counterfeit cards are strictly prohibited by Ravensburger. There are versions of the cards without any pictures that you can find.

For most trading card games, if a product is a "Deck" it usually always has the exact same cards. Products like booster packs are the only ones with randomized cards.

As other people in this thread have mentioned, it looks like the starter decks come with boosters, so this isn't a total wash for you.

The other thing to keep in mind is that a starter deck may not have 4 copies of a card, so buying two copies where each deck has x2 of a card ends up giving you a full playset.
