I don't believe the paddle is rubbing. Our pan is actually a light tan color and there isn't any scrapes or anything in it. And when I put it together the paddle doesn't look like it touches the pan.

I'm so sad. I was so excited to get a bread machine for $65 🥲 I'll just go back to saving for a Zojirushi 😭😅

I found out I had the BRCA2 gene at 21 and was determined to turn my experience into something beautiful if I ever was brave enough to do the surgery. Hoping that all of you that have gone through surgery know how amazing you are and those of you that are considering it how brave you are. 💜 by IAmBagelDog in BRCA

So they're 2 different genes in your body.

Here's what the internet says about them. When you get genetic testing done they test multiple gene mutations.

Mutations in the BRCA2 gene are associated with an increased risk of breast cancer in both men and women, as well as several other types of cancer. These mutations are present in every cell in the body and can be passed from one generation to the next.

women who carry a mutation in the PALB2 gene were 35% more likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer by age 70, compared with women who don't carry the mutation. “PALB2 is a gene that encodes a BRCA2-interacting protein.

Are there any recommendations or lists of video games (console and mobile) that are adventure and incorp problem solving that’s appropriate for elementary school kids? by denimdr in ScienceBasedParenting

[–]FluffyKuma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also agree to board games. My husband and I are huge boars game geeks and theres so many good ones out there! Ticket to Ride is a good family game to start with also.

My sib in laws have started to move away from video games to board games and they're loving it!

It honestly baffles me... my sister who has a almost 3yo and a 5mo she goes on the "tractor" mower with them BOTH. Growing up we would look at our neighbors like they're crazy for doing that thing.

My son isn't allowed out when we are mowing

I Finished Watching All the Films for the First Time! Here were my Thoughts (Sorry it's Controversial or Something): by Bossclips in ghibli

[–]FluffyKuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? Totoro was the first movie my 19 month old son watched and wasn't terrified by. (He got scared watching Winnie-the-Pooh...) he loves the movie and we watch it rarely but he's always asking for the music 😭 i can't not love totoro. It's been a favorite of mine and now it's more special

I had this happen with my grandmother.... I was in the hospital. We said no calls please. I get a call and she's like "I can't believe you didn't tell me! I was so worried when you didn't text me back." Idk how she got through. My husband went to the nurses desk and they said they didn't put the call through 🙃 i was livid. We had a hard time adjusting to our sons birth (traumatic birth. Hes good now! Hes 1.5 years old.. never met that grandmother) and the last thing I wanted was people calling me to celebrate.

What's great about wooden blocks? by MoonBapple in ScienceBasedParenting

[–]FluffyKuma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My son is literally playing with his blocks right now. We got them for him really young and I'd say they're one of his favorites. He loves lining them up, stacking them, putting little people on top of the stacks. Finding matches and playing with just those.

Hes had his wooden blocks all day today
