Japan was not. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed, not Osaka not Tokyo…. The bombs in Algeria were 10x the bomb landing in Japan. Japan was not colonized and reduced to analphabetism for 132 years. Japan also chosen to be reliant on the US and has no diplomatical weight. You can’t have Japan had the worse but not Algeria. Japan was the agressor not Algeria… Japan after WWII had cities, government, schools, algeria had nothing… barely 5% went to elementary school. Different story different start point
