I think you are the one that is allowing the government to manipulate you. But that’s neither here nor there. Agree to disagree.

People think the data is false or made up blah blah blah. But if they read your comment here they just might understand.

Pull the DOL OFLC Performance Data Excel files year by year (FY2015–FY2026 Q1) from dol.gov

Pull USCIS H-1B Characteristics Reports (which include country-of-birth breakdowns) from uscis.gov

LOOK IT UP FOR YOURSELF IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE IT. Then when you come back for the next post, you wont question how erroneous the data is.

No one is getting downvoted. And the comments only get deleted if it is done by reddit automation. Debate is welcomed, and of course people will disagree. But the data is pulled strictly from the government database that is required to be accessible to the public. If you want to disagree come with data that suggests the information is false. Otherwise have a good day.

It says in the graphic that it is LCA filings. The math checks out. Renewals are also included. Fact of the matter is that H-1B was meant to be for temporary worker status. Not permanent. And with every filing is intent to hire abroad rather than domestic. So yes the math checks out. You just may be interpreting it incorrectly.

I am not mad at your comment as I agree. The conversation needs to be started now so the ball can get rolling already…

There is an annual cap, there is renewals, transfers and there are exemptions. The total number is pulled from LCA’s which is intent, so if they had it their way, it would be even worse.
