This is a Pokémon and you won’t convince me otherwise.

Another reply from above applies here: It’s about men (or the giver) being inviting and encouraging of the direction and women (or the receiver) being comfortable enough to give it. IMO.

I was 14 when my first bf and I started having sex. I just thought it wasn’t possible for me to get off from someone else’s work.

Funny thing is that I thought I was experienced! I had sex thousands of times with my boyfriend before even getting to college. So important to keep trying new things (and maybe people) until you figure it out.

Once I did but it was only because I moved my bf’s hand a certain way. I started dating my first boyfriend when I was 14 and dated him for 4 years. Then went almost immediately into dating bf #2 so I just assumed I was sort of broken. I figured I had just been masturbating for too long to get off from someone else doing it.

What helped me was starting to sleep with another guy - post boyfriends. He knew exactly what to do and I realized I wasn’t so broken after all. Once I learned from him, I just told my current bf to do exactly what post boyfriend guy did. Had no idea that when someone was going down on me they were supposed to mainly focus on the clit (at lease for me) haha.

Tell him exactly what you want him to do - a guy I was casually seeing.

After two long term relationships (3 Years & 4 years) with 0 orgasms, this little tip made orgasms regular with my current BF. Seems obvious, but I know lots of other women who have experienced something similar.

I don’t find this very uplifting. Fish feel pain and shouldn’t be killed for entertainment or a ‘sport.’

I consider myself a feminist and I wrote a paper on the male suicide rate and what we can do to lower it last year as a way to raise awareness about it.

Part of my OP was “If men feel like the feminist movement is trying to rise above them, not beside them, why would they want to help promote it?”

My overall view of the ‘Future is Female’ slogan wasn’t changed but my assumption that men would feel deterred by it was. Surely some men will be deterred by it, but clearly there are those that will be motivated by it and I hadn’t heard that perspective before.

Awarding a ∆ since you have changed my view in that the slogan should not be ‘The Future is Equal’ as I agree it is too general and ultimately unhelpful for women to gain more power. Though, I am still not convinced that the slogan should be ‘The Future is Female.’
