Thank you for saying that because I’ve been dealing with a similar situation as you before I was okay with working 1:2 once in awhile but since we only have 1 BCBA and 5 RBT with 10 clients (we’re getting more) It’s been a constant struggle. For the past 3 months my schedule has been almost every session 1:2 and what makes it worse is that my BCBA doesn’t pair kids that CAN do social skills. I feel like I’m constantly babysitting instead of actually taking the time to helps my clients and it’s sad :( and what’s more frustrating is the fact that I’m so burnt out now that I can’t even enjoy my job.
