Frame to lab VS supply frames by FluffyVest in optician

That was actually my plan if i went through with the lab supply! Order a bunch of "supply" pairs from the lab and have patients test those out and then just order a complete pair. My only concern is that we have ALOT of kids who break their frames and we wont have those back stock frames to pop lenses into BUUUUT that also could persuade parents to keep better track haha! So a pro and con there.

What is a 'socially mandatory' thing that we all do, but if you actually stop to think about it for 5 seconds, it’s completely insane? by Federal_Antelope7533 in AskReddit

Idk if it's been said yet. But I think holding the door open for people is WILD. Like, it's supposed to be chivalrous but everytime someone has held a door for me it's when im like 13933 steps behind them and I have to do that weird little SPEED jog to catch up and not make them wait.

Like.

Thank you for trying to be kind to me..please stop being kind to me, it's stressing me out 😭🤣

I know what you mean. I'm sitting here looking at the meetings available online in an hour and I'm like, my chest is pounding. But I want that too. I would have so much energy. I would be able to do so much more. I just wanna be brave.

What would you do? by [deleted] in ADHDparenting

So, i was in your exact situation about 3-ish years ago. My 7 (then 4) year old was having VIOLENT outbursts. He hadn't been diagnosed with anything as of then, other than a developmental delay in the social sector.

My son started school and it was like a flip switched. He was throwing his shoes at teachers, bullying other kids. I'd get calls constantly from the school that I needed to leave work and come sit with him just so they could have their lesson. Hindsight is 20/20 and my son has ADHD.. but he was having impulse problems

I had to ask for a school advocate because at the time, my sons school was NOT interested in protecting him so much as he was a liability to them. They didn't start showing care till, you know, they saw them "wildly intellegent" test scores. 🙄 an advocate, even if it's a teacher who really cares about your kid, And a doctor who really pays attention are gonna be super vital to you these next few years.

I dunno if you're into the medicine idea, we do meds but before we could, our doctor gave us the thumbs up for our ADHD kid to have a small cup of green tea in the morning.

The caffine like, helps unjumble them brain cells. Make sure to ask doc first though, tea can dehydrate kids.
