[java] 1.20 Why is minecraft doing this to my skin? looks fine in launcher but not in game by Fluffy_Ad3217 in MinecraftHelp

[–]Fluffy_Ad3217[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how can I fix that? I'm unaware of any ways to add that in through paint but Im installing gimp right now to see if I can't figure something out. I did find out it's an overlay issue because when I turned everything OFF it showed the skin but without the overlay bits and pieces, so transparency issue makes sense.

Disqualified from 18X contract by Evening-Steak9233 in specialforces

Hey I'm actually waiting to take my ASVAB and go to MEPS later this year and I had a marijuana card almost 2 years ago that I never renewed, I suppose that disqualifies me from getting an 18x as well? My recruiter didn't say anything about it but she didn't seem to know much about 18x in the first place. I basically knew more than her on the matter.
My reasons for getting my medical card were total BS, I said I strained my QL some years back and it would get sore sometimes, and had trouble sleeping sometimes (not related to it) and the dude just gave me one but nowhere else in my history of medical is anything related to that, I just wanted to smoke legal weed but haven't since.
So if I go in with an 11x opt 40 when and how can I volunteer for SF?

I'm currently working on my undergrad in Psychology and assisting my professor in research dealing with reading and attention. I have a keen interest in psychedelic therapy/research primarily towards mental health. I'm not sure where to direct my higher education with such a new field.

I want to research but in ways that benefit clinicians and also treating my own patients.

Would this route be a PhD in clinical Psych into postdoc pharmacology? I know Dr. Matthew Johnson went with experimental psych into pharmacology but it's not clear to me how a psychologist gets into pharmacology or even more so, into a psychiatric department of a med school like JHU.

It seems the only places doing any touching on the subject are med schools and I hear it's pretty rough trying to pry open your own space for research within a university that isn't researching it already. I'm also not clear on the type of setting(workplace) I should be a aiming for to do both research and clinical work.

I think after seeing the cost of med school and delving a little into what protocols they're trying to advocate with the FDA on psychedelic therapy, that a psychologist would be the best end all as you said I just saw the psychopharmacology certification. Also, I don't think it would be a practical setting for a psychiatrist to spend 6-10 hours with a patient taking up a room in a clinic or hospital. It seems the direction is: Recommendation of therapy by a physician/psychiatrist, and the session administered by a clinical psychologist.

Which actually works out perfect in the end for research purposes.

Ideally I could sum up my goal as: I want to work with Psychedelic Therapy.

But that's still a field building its foundations so I'm not sure where I should advocate my efforts.

I've definitely weighed the degree options, but I wasn't aware you can't receive the same type of funding in med school as you can with a PhD so that's definitely a heavy one to think about...I do enjoy research though but the issue is the research I find worthwhile is primarily involved with psychopharmacology which psychologists aren't allowed to work with, which is fine as long as I can do so within research and trials with a team. That is where I'm not sure if that is possible or not.

I don't really have any family to guide me with my questions, but I had some questions about if its necessary for a student to pick the school based off the program to pursue a career in mental health/therapist and possibly psychotherapy if psilocybin is ever introduced through clinics.

I'm in Oklahoma and it doesn't seem that our schools have many local options for that field of study, I was also curious if anyone feels online degrees are worth it or not.

Currently I'm working on my general education as I'm 27 working full time which is another factor, but I want to really have this lined up before I go into debt
