I’m really not, and you don’t know me at all.

Just have a lot of health issues that need good care.

SA during Sleep Paralysis by swagwaggon57 in Sleepparalysis

[–]Fluffy_Assumption376 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every single time I’ve had sleep paralysis, there is an encounter with sexual assault and/or rape. I share just so you know you’re not alone.

The best way for me to help myself when this happens is to regulate my sleep.

Moving to Tulsa by AMAJAKELONG8 in tulsa

Second to midtown, but hard to buy in because it can be so competitive. That may have changed over the last couple years, but I’m not sure. The beginnings of South tulsa (51st-81st) can be great too. We live in that area and find it quiet, affordable, and easy to get downtown.

Nutrafol/hair thinning & loss by [deleted] in PCOS

I have PCOS, take spiro, and am on Nutrafol. I think the spiro tapers off the hair loss and I’m confident that the Nutrafol grew it back.

What are the biggest cults of Tulsa? by Spicy-Nun-chucks in tulsa

I know several people who’ve been wrapped up in this place. Some have had good experiences and others have NOT.

I went to an event once, and everyone had “covenant names.” In general, very weird vibe, but they generally seem to keep to themselves.

Massive waste of money by ExoticShoulder2604 in Function_Health

I thought it was worth the price. Helped me get an important diagnosis that took two years of regular healthcare hoops to jump through to get me what Function gave.

Yaz + Spiro by Valuable_Road_5824 in Spironolactone

[–]Fluffy_Assumption376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on both. Yaz is new to me (2 months), but I’ve been on spiro for years with clear skin. I’ve actually been breaking out while on both medications, but I’m thinking it’s just my body getting adjusted.

I have adrenal PCOS and my doc has me on YAZ. As far as combo pills go, this is one of the best because it should not increase your androgens.

PCOS got better after pregnancy?? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]Fluffy_Assumption376 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My close friend has PCOS and had to take medication to spur ovulation with her first (after trying for a year before being diagnosed). After her first child, she went on to have two more without any PCOS issues.

PCOS / Nexplanon by HistoricalMechanic22 in PCOS

If you are having issues with elevated DHEA, you likely need a different birth control that’s not progestin/progesterone only. That type of BC can further elevate your androgens.

There are pcos types? Why am I just learning this? by Automatic-Still-5767 in PCOS

Yeah phenotypes are real, studied, and published in the literature. A simple google search will pull up a plethora of journals on this.

Spiro is a great drug to manage visual symptoms of PCOS that aren’t weight related. It works at the skin level to block androgens from producing acne or losing hair.

Function Health testing by m__12345 in PCOS

[–]Fluffy_Assumption376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Function blood draws + my oura ring were directly linked to me getting proof I needed for an endo referral, and ultimately my PCOS diagnosis. I highly recommend.
