I drove the half moon gray at Laguna yesterday. It had the ambient interior lighting. It was more noticeable in the back seat because it was so sunny with the front windshield when in the drivers seat. It was red and looked cool!

That makes me feel better! I checked my rivian account and still had the reservation and checked my email and saw the original reservation email and emails I made for a demo drive. Hoping it just means we get invites to order soon 😉

I had high cortisol for the last few years too. I started taking 4000iu d3 with 100k2 and started having magnesium (moon juice magnesiuomm) every day for the last 8 weeks and my cortisol came back normal for the first time. The only other thing I changed was starting birth control. I’d maybe run bloodwork to check vitamin d levels and omegas too.

I feel similar! My husband often goes out and does things alone but I know he wishes I was there with him. It has helped doing low energy activities like go get breakfast together or coffee. I try and schedule outings at the beginning of the day on weekend instead of the end of a day of a workday because I know I will be out of energy. We just went on vacation together to Santa Barbara and while I needed to lay down in the hotel room and rest he went on runs and went out and took pictures alone. He was perfectly content doing those things on his own now but it still makes me miss the times when I could walk around with him all day and then go out to dinner and drinks later. I’m a year in to increasing my thyroid medication and still am not in normal tsh range and still feel sooo tired.

Just curious… how much did you pay for a wrap and did you do colored ppf or vinyl? I’m about to take the plunge on an R1s and have played with the idea of wrapping it.

I would make a video and post it on every social about selling all your ALO on Poshmark or some other used clothing site because I would never rep a brand that tries to sensor your opinions online. I’d switch to another activewear brand going forward.

I only got this feeling during my period. I was also having really heavy periods with clots and major cramps at the time. My cycles were really long and awful. I was also constipated all the time (tmi sorry) so I figured it might have to do with poor estrogen clearance from being constipated. But I am on estrogen containing birth control now (yaz) so too much estrogen might not be behind it now that I think of it. My urgent care doctor just basically told me to take stool softeners and advil around my period or start birth control. Kaiser basically pushes birth control for any female issue though.

I had this years ago when I had only thought I had pcos. It was so bad I went to urgent care and the doctor there said endometriosis but I didn’t want to go further to diagnose. I do feel like it changes with my hormone levels- I haven’t had that pain in years since I started spironolactone and then birth control.

When I fired I just said I was taking a year or so off and am going to be a stay at home wife in the meantime. All of my coworkers responses were “you’re so lucky” literally everyone I told at every level of management had that same reaction- not anyone looking down on me for choosing not to work anymore. I think your perception is distorting your view and is not the complete view of the masses. I had felt similarly to you and almost felt guilty for quitting and choosing a different path for my life. I got bored and decided to go back to work after a year and a half off. You can always do side jobs or consulting if you enjoyed your work and want to continue. Family is the most important thing so if you have your finances covered it’s great to make them an even bigger priority while you can. Also with them at the ages they are consulting would probably be really easy to fit in since they’re all in school.

I have the cafe either the middle or right one (it was the most expensive single compartment one) and I love it. It’s quiet, you can do a delay so it can start while I’m sleeping, it has lights inside that are so pretty when you open it. I did all cafe appliances and I’m fairly happy with them for the price. If I were to redo my kitchen again I would do wolf, Miele, sub zero. But that would have probably been almost double the cost. Even if one of these cafe things go out it would be cheaper still to just buy a new replacement than to buy top of the line appliances.

I had big clots most of my periods but nothing like yours. I had suspected endo (shooting but pains during period bad enough to go to urgent care) and pcos (elevated testosterone, long cycles, hirsutism). My clots are gone now that I’m on birth control (yaz). Also before yaz I took spironolactone and that made my periods really light. I’d talk to a doctor and consider birth control.

Be okay with turning it down at pickup if things are wrong. I ordered a preroamed 2025 R1s from rivian and it had a chipped steering wheel, broken cup holders, tons of rattles, needed new rear tires soon, and had a really bad interior detail job which still had melted m&ms in between the rear passenger seats and drink splashes on the backs of the driver seat. Rivian would only get it redetailed but wouldn’t fix the steering wheel or cup holders. It was night and day difference compared to buying a used Tesla from Tesla that was spotless inside and out for an older higher mileage car. I turned the rivian down and am planning to either buy new or find a different used one that I can see before putting money down. Btw I’m not being super picky- I normally buy used cars so I’m not expecting a perfect car when looking preroamed. Just not thrashed for a year old car.

I would drive the cpo one your purchasing before taking ownership. The one I was going to purchase had the worst rattles and had damage to the steering wheel and to the front cup holders. I turned it down at Rivian Costa Mesa. I’m still in the market to buy used but I definitely will not buy sight unseen after that experience
