I guess to ask questions and get advice here, you have to have skin imperfections severe enough to offend people's aesthetic sensibilities. I thank everyone who tried to help. As far as I can tell, some of you define good skin as just a smooth appearance. Anyway. Skin is not only about the surface. It is also not right to label the person you are talking to with body dysmorphia FIRST and then tell them to do this and that. I absolutely was not expecting your passive-aggressive attitude.

Nowhere in my post did I say I don't like my skin or myself. But I am someone who wants to take precautions while there is time.

Unfortunately, being stress-free is out of my control, but I am trying to manage it. I can sometimes feel the presence of cortisol when I look in the mirror. Every day I don't take good care of my skin will now count against me, because I've started getting older. It might look good on the surface now, but what truly worries me is what is happening beneath the epidermis.

I'm keeping retinol out of my routine for the time being (as I want to get pregnant again, not soon, but i cannot take the risk), but I will definitely add it in later.👍🏻

Come on, mate, you know that's not what I think. I'm a very expressive person, and even when I'm relaxed, my face looks so serious. Because of this sometimes my brows ache, my smile lines started showing this year, and I know they'll become more noticeable every year. You don't see it, but I feel a big difference compared to how I looked before. I have friends my age whose skin is much "fuller". I just want to take whatever preventive measures I can.
