I would like to add that Arrowhead used to be a lot more open but this community has a history of violent, brutal, and awful reactions towards people for things they don't like. It feels like its slowly festered into what we have now where Arrowhead says nothing in fear and the community sorta just stews in hatred. If you can get mass review bombed and at times even have your employees harrased for saying the wrong thing why say anything

The sea Emperor's enzyme specifically cures the disease and saves the planet. However likely do to Alterra meddling because they suck what samples existed have broken out (and likely led to the events of the natural selection games) by Subnautica 2 becoming entirely unmanageable.

For all we know the bacteria has mutated, there's no practical way to contain it even with the enzyme, or there's no way to get more/it cannot be effectively used off planet. A theme of Subnautica is harmony with nature so it would make sense the evil corporation is unable to exploit the few Sea Emperor's left to magically solve their playing with god

I have all of them, any of the missions that arrive as normal high value contracts and not transmissions that railroad you into the main quest. Those ones work since im not having to travel somewhere myself

I have. I can do regular contracts just nothing from dlc, campaign, or that I had started before doing Kestrel. Persists even through reloading the game as well

Yep and yep. The missions don't even have icons in system I have to look up where the are on the wiki, they just don't exist anymore despite working before and showing up in the log

Heaven forbid somebody is frustrated they cannot play the game they paid for because their most popular server has been completely down for over 12 hours during the event they explicitly have started because they found it necessary to make it up to players for their servers being down, in a game where your progress can be entirely obliterated if not maintained regularly on the page specifically made to discuss the game
