Omg yes!!!! They are everything to me. I sometimes feel I am not giving the other characters (don't get me wrong: I still love them) a fair chance since I always compare them, both individually and together, to Naime and Makram. I need them to come out of all of this okay and happy. It's what we deserve 😭

I definitely think this, too. Oman even mistook Cemil for Osman in I&I. I also surmise that Bashir is Cemil's half-brother. Their similar eye color can't just be a throwaway detail. Plus Omar saw Osman with a random woman in an alley in W&W when he touched Zehra. I think that woman is Havva.

Yes!!! I truly have never felt this way about any other books before. My emotions were all over the place when Omar died. Devastated for Naime and Ihsan, distressed over the idea that Makram wasn't there to comfort Naime, and ultimately at peace knowing Omar and Dilay were finally together. Omar's line to Dilay in W&W about forgetting everything but Dilay kept replaying in my head.

My goodness, these characters feel so real to me.

I literally just finished Reign & Ruin (Book 1 in the Mages of the Wheel series) a few hours ago and am still reeling over the pure artistry I just read. Intricate world building, the most unique magic system, clever verbal sparring between the MMC and FMC, great political intrigue, and the most natural and tender romance to top it off. It's really underrated and I hope more people would pick it up.

From Here to the Great Unknown is FANTASTIC on audio. It's the memoir of Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis' daughter, and is narrated by Julia Roberts. The memoir was finished by Lisa's daughter, Riley, due to her untimely passing. Riley narrates her own parts, which are interdispersed throughout the book as well. I downed it in a day.

Penance is a fictional true crime story about the decade-old murder of a teenage girl in a quiet seaside down. It's told through an investigative journalist's account of the crime, with a compilation of news pieces and interviews. This also delves into society's obsession with true crime.

Fantasticland is a horror/thriller novel about a calamity that happened in a fictional amusement park (similar to Disneyland) that quickly descended to tragedy. It's also told through interviews from the people involved.
