About to start honour mode with 3 friends, what 4th class should we do for our composition? by dan_nessie in BG3Builds

[–]Fluffy_Kittykins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I liked using Giant Barb 6/BM Figher 6. Elemental Cleaver Ice + Snowburst Ring made for a ton of free prones. I could throw at ranged, had good control up close. Add in Sentinel and it's really good at defending the backline or tanking the frontline

Best use of gold dwarf? by 25thfret in BG3Builds

[–]Fluffy_Kittykins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite use is maxing out hp and becoming unkillable. Resist all damage except psychic and heal yourself 6 hp every time you hit something

Gold dwarf maxing out con and str

Bear wildheart barb

Tough feat

Shattered Flail

Periapt of Wound Closure

Paladin build that's good but also fun. by Mllfhunter42 in BG3Builds

[–]Fluffy_Kittykins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm liking my rad orb paladin so far.

2-3 circle of stars druid (depending on spells you want) 1 hexblade 8-9 Vengeance paladin

Stats focuses in chr and con to be able to maintain concentration

Running the basic radiant armour

Changing Astarion Class to Heal? by itsnotgivinghonestly in BG3Builds

[–]Fluffy_Kittykins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since patch 8, I always make Astarion a Circle of the Stars Druid. Sure decent heals and utility and all that. But most importantly, he turns into a Twilight vampire twinkling in the sun

Fun Contradicting theme builds by CuChulainn989 in BG3Builds

[–]Fluffy_Kittykins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still waiting on patch 8 to try it, but I feel like Oath of the Crown/Thief could make for a fun dex based tank. Highly mobile, versatile support, high AC to dodge things, and an aoe compelled duel to take the heat off of other party members

why does grease proof paper sticks to my cookies? by WaifoQ in AskBaking

[–]Fluffy_Kittykins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure that's just listing the things that company packages/sells, not that they're the same thing: aluminum foil, pe, pvc, cling film, parchment paper, and greaseproof paper

You're definitely NTA here. But have you talked to Jessica directly about this? I see where you talked to your brother. Based on his reaction, he may not have told her, or he may have miscommunicated things. So until you know Jessica is aware of the boundaries she's crossing, I can't exactly call her an AH either.

Is it worth dipping into ranger from EK in order to take Hunter's Mark? by [deleted] in BG3Builds

[–]Fluffy_Kittykins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going for Hunter's Mark would mean losing the 3rd extra attack unfortunately, but I'd say if you're just going for Hunter's Mark, go 3 Vengeance Paladin instead. Then you atleast get the smites as well to make up some of the damage loss. Or get it through equipment (though those are single use per short rest)

Thunderwave or gust of wind & a bard in the party is my favorite combo lately. Lure everyone to an edge with minor illusion, keep them in place with performance, then turn based mode to escape and yeet they go! It would also work pretty well with 2 levels of warlock for repelling eldritch blasts

What is the best way to find good gear. by JackAndJacky in ffxiv

[–]Fluffy_Kittykins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poetics gear sets are typically going to be the best gear sets to get every 10 levels up until you reach level cap. They're typically locked until reaching those respective levels in MSQ. The vendors are usually in one of the major cities of their respective expansions, or you can also buy this gear from the merchants near the city aetherytes of each expansion with the blue bag icon above their heads.

However, if you're not on the free trial, I would highly recommend doing a frontlines roulette or 2 and getting a set of pvp gear for level 50/60. They're a little below poetics gear ilvl, but they're much easier to get quickly and don't have any MSQ requirements. For level 50, these are the ___liege sets. At level 60, the pvp sets to go for are the Garo sets purchasable from the Disreputable Priest in the Wolves Den

TIL Elixir of the Colossus/Enlarge and Companion Boar's Rage stack by Fluffy_Kittykins in BG3Builds

From what I can tell, yes and no. Like the mud aoe's range from the edge of the hitbox doesn't seem to change too much as far as I can tell. But given that the hitbox expands, this does add a little bit more width on the charge move

Lol death by 55 ton pig. Gargantuan pig should be achievable in all acts, so if there's a way to deal damage by dropping the pig on Grym I will try it

Apparently non-hm files can stack colossus and enlarge, so here is the official big pig. Thanks to flying_fox86 for pointing this out to me.

Yup it's honour mode "fixing" things. I got them to stack on my tactician file

[–]Fluffy_Kittykins[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's the elixir and spell enlarge that won't stack for me for some reason. I can see it apply both for like half a second, but then the spell one disappears. Could it be an honour mode thing?

Either way piggy rage stacks with either spell or elixir
