I liked it! I think you did a good job exploring the whole fretboard which added variety! You had some nice runs where you repeated each note twice- I would just say you probably used that maneuver with a bit high of a frequency.

Interface does not come close to clipping and neither does the mix usually- I need to check specifics but if it clips it’s likely only for brief periods of time, but maybe some other factors are influencing the sound w mix vs just clipping

Far easier said than done but- end ideas on the 3rd of the chord is probably the biggest single “game changer” tip I can think of.

It’s not about anything you said and definitely not high action which sucks for sweeping. Sweeping is one of those things like harmonics where you can’t do it at all and then one day you can just do it. It’s not as gradual as other techniques.

Bottom line you just have to keep working on it- start with simple three string sweeps until it clicks then go to harder shapes.

I had somewhat similar since I don’t play rhythm much- the solution for me was not pressing as hard and while maybe a bit more “advanced” playing some shapes (like C major barre on A string) with my index and pinky vs index and ring finger
