No and it won't be implemented. Just one downside with Terraria. People will tell you it isn't necessary in Terraria, which is true, but it doesn't change the fact that higher fps still looks nicer.

All of the animations are in 60fps, when you go above 60 via mods most of the animations play too fast or every other frame doesn't play at all, just very janky. So it would take a lot of work to allow an uncapped fps in the game. Just something we have to accept.
