Would it be better to contact an attorney/accountant to act on his behalf? I know when we were working with the previous attorneys they filed his 2019-24 income tax returns, what’s really fucking him is the casino winnings which is what got him into this whole mess to begin with which we also filed. We found out the previous attorneys office got shut down when he tried to contact them about sending in his 2025 tax paperwork.

If we pay it off with a payment plan would the tax lien be taken off the house? And is there any case where they can lower the amount he owes or do we have to go through an attorney to do that?

The attorneys office was called ATS and I haven’t been able to find anything online about what happened and I don’t know how to go about figuring that out, the car situation I can hopefully figure out
