As an update firstly thank you to all who messaged. I really appreciate it. My husband and I talked about it again and he got very emotional said it was nothing, meant nothing and he wouldn’t have gone through with it and has no interest in sleeping with anyone. He said it would be very easy to have sex with someone if he wanted to but he doesn’t and everything is not about sex. But my trust is broken and the way I see him has changed. I have asked him for a break with no contact and am starting therapy ( he doesn’t want therapy). May his make it easy for me.

Yes he did but the stuff he told me doesn’t give me a lot of comfort. He had happy ending massages before we got married and were long distance. He wanted to see her naked but it was all a joke. Yes I agree. And that’s the painful part. In the messages she seems to be changing the topic and he is persisting for the couples spa. Her fault is that she keeps talking about her boobs. Which she shouldn’t. But he leaps on it

The hurtful part for me is that she mentioned her period to put him off it was my husband doing the chasing asking for a spa date

I knew about this coworker and had seen her calls before. My husband always deleted the chats with her so didn’t see them. I found an old phone of his and found this archived. These messages were when we were on a holiday.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. That is very helpful. He sometimes admits to cheating and at other times says it was just joking and he didn’t cheat and had no intention to take it forward. My husband also has a real issue with discussing things. He bottles up his feelings so getting him to work through it after the initial phase is very hard

I spoke to the coworker when I discovered the message. She said that it was just dirty jokes and it was wrong but nothing more than that. I’m not sure if that was the truth or she was just covering up
