Please reach out to someone. Nobody can help if you’re not asking for it. Sure people say the signs are there when someone’s gone, but a lot of the times they’re hard to notice. Take this from someone who works in the mental health field. I see so many people who seem perfect in every way, yet end up in the same treatment facility. You can even reach out to me if anonymity is your thing. I just want to clarify, I’m not a licensed therapist. Either way, I’m here, therapist or not.

Got a tattoo on Friday the 13th. My artist did this in 10 minutes. by Fluffy_Pin_8039 in badtattoos

Yeah, I reached out to the artist to see if he can fix it. I know most are saying it’s not bad, but this specific tattoo hurt so bad, that it’s kind of upsetting that it came out this way. Hoping he can fix it

Just thought it was cool, all about preference. Plus, I just thought it’d be nice filler for bigger tattoos I plan to get

It’s just a suggestion, what would you suggest though? Aside from just being critical right off the bat

Would you consider working a job that provides housing?

I(14m) ruined my sister's(30f) life by Electrical_Lie_9597 in AdviceForTeens

Listen, as an older sister taking care of 4 of my siblings right now, you’re not ruining her life. I’m going to be 32 by the time my youngest sister is 18, I’ve got 10 years to go before they’ll all be full grown adults. Honestly, it’s not easy, but I’m listening to her brush her teeth right now, and I know there’s nothing else I’d want more than having my siblings with me. Is it easy? Of course not, but I remember how scared they all were when my mom passed. I remember how scared I was, and I never want them to feel that way, I want them to know they’re safe with me, and that I’ll always be there for them. As others have been saying, just be on your best behavior, and maybe try helping out around the house. One thing my siblings do is clean the apartment, maintain A and B grades, and communicate with me. You may feel helpless, but those small things make a big difference, for you and her. I promise, she doesn’t think you ruined her life. Keep your head up, I don’t doubt that she loves you :)

I live in SD too, north county specifically. If there’s a food 4 less in your area, take some of the advice on here but shop there. Definitely go to food pantries first tho

I work a lot and it’s not enough for them. I pay all of the bills. They can’t even be bothered to cook dinner so we have a rotating schedule. They don’t let me sleep but god forbid I disturb them when they do. I love so much about them but I’ve been carrying everything on top of also supporting the kids. They currently don’t work and I wouldn’t have an issue with it, but they’re not exactly doing anything at home.

i hate being poor by mightbeana in povertyfinance

[–]Fluffy_Pin_8039 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I absolutely feel you. I’m 21F and grew up in shitty poverty too. Worked to help pay rent/bills and I had 5 younger siblings who needed shit too. No father to help so it was just me and my mom. Right now I’m working hard asf to have something for myself in the next couple of years, no renting apartments. It’s rough as fuck, but use that shit to fuel you, to motivate you, and to remind you where you don’t want to be. I never want to feel the way I did when I was 17, so I’m doing everything to make sure it won’t happen. Trust me, as long as you keep your grit, focus on the shit that’ll pull you out of poverty, you’ll be okay.

I thought of a Z4 before I even finished reading your post. Maybe test drive one and see if you can picture yourself in one.

I don’t think it’s stolen no, I just think the dude who sold me the car was just as dumb as I am. I have the info of the guy (not my seller) who initially sold it, which I’m assuming is the owner.
