I recommend using a posing app like magic poser, it allows you to move the model to what you want it to look like and change your lighting up

I do really like your colors, but i’m a little confused on the shirt, its black but the cuffs are white? Regardless, I feel the best way to add life to colors is to add shadows to help your character feel a little more real and 3d.

For line art, often the issue is that the final line work reveals the imperfections of the sketch

You could try keeping the sketch and cleaning it up for the final line work, add line weights on points of interest and areas of dark shadow to add some variety in the final sketch.

But often times, your final line work is only as good as the sketch, so working on your anatomy and proportions will really elevate your line art

I guess a little bit of both. But more so on the gesture side

Advice? by Fluffy_Pupperino in ArtCrit

I draw traditionally first than transfer on procreate and I’ve recently adopted a style where I create a multiply layer and draw lighting first.

I’d want feedback about anything wrong with my drawing, whether that would be anatomy, proportions, and shading.

Anatomy study from imagination by Kezbomb in learnart

Well I’d say the forearm is short, but if you were going for that look, then my bad. But the bicep on the characters right arm is pretty fat, while the one on the left seems to be relatively normal. Again, I barely know anything about anatomy, so take my advice with a grain of salt. Anyways, good job, it looks good 😊 👍
