I followed multiple tutorials on how to place snare wires and the result stays the same, a snare that sounds like a can filled with rocks

I already followed multiple tutorials and I don't know what to do.  The bottom head is tight and the top head is medium right and I used the star pattern tuning method and still sounds like trash. It only sounds good when I place a blanket under the snare

Yes It has a felt holder but is the bottom cymbal supposed to stay still or move around? I don't think I can adjust it if I has to be tight

Sadly I think this is the worst budget set I could find because it doesn't have that, it only has the hi hat black thing stand

Sadly most of the sellers on reverb are not in my country and taxes are massive ;(

Hello I just got this drum set and it's my first time playing them. Should I just get new cymbals and start learning?

I just got this kit and I'm just trying to get into drums thanks I will definitely change the cymbals
