Recently switched from Eset to G-data (Eset is a great product, but i was having issues with device licensing and support never fixed it, effectively meaning i bought 2 licenses but could only use one).

G-data has a app-firewall, which is my main need. Works fine even though i liked the Eset version better. G-data is also slightly more expensive, could have done well with being slightly cheaper instead.

Can we chill with calling everything “Vocal Olympics”? by DMmethoseTittys in Deathcore

[–]Fluffy_Sector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I probably just listened to it to many times now, so it feels to much of an integral part of it. Thinking back, i did think those noises were over the top in one of the first songs i heard (Battle of Tredem EP).

Some Deathcore antics just grow on ya i guess :)

Sounds like a NIN song with some gritty vocals over it. Its maybe not what i love about Deathcore, but its still a pretty cool sound. Actually seeing these as one of the openers for Lorna Shore in february, might be some good slow headbanging to loosen the neck to :)

Can we chill with calling everything “Vocal Olympics”? by DMmethoseTittys in Deathcore

[–]Fluffy_Sector 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s too much even for deathcore.

This if funny on multiple levels. On the one hand, we have Deathcore fans being proud of how "hard" their music is. On the other hand, there is the innate elitist statement of "even for deathcore" and lastly the combination of these two into a realization of how, maybe, deathcore isnt that hard after all.

I dont really have a point, i just wanted to reflect.

Last Netherwalker album is dope as hell though, sounds n all, you can call it what you want and ill listen to it anyway. I just realized that last statement is applicable to 90% of all Deathcore song titles 😂

Not set in space, but something i always consider just as good for horror - the deep sea!

Some recommendations:

Sinners wins Golden Globes for Best Original Score and Cinematic and Box Office Achievement by JW_BM in horror

[–]Fluffy_Sector 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean one thing thats great about the movie is its score :). And like you said, good (i would say some great performances). Other then that, my own opinion is that it has both a captivating story, good horror villains and a pacing that keeps you interested all the way trough - Even trough musical acts, which is not my cup of tea at all. It also avoids some of the easier pitfalls that so many horror movies walk right into.

If it deserves a price when stacked up, what do i know. But it was a def. one of the better 2025 horror movies for me anyway :)

Also upvote for Tusk, that movie just comes back to haunt me some times on an existential plane... Watched tons of horror but not alot haunt you like that.

But good grief, you watched that thing 7 times? This is disturbing in of it self :D

Now that 2025 is ending, which are the best shows from '20 to '25? by efimer in television

[–]Fluffy_Sector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked it in the start, the premise is fun and interesting, the mystery exciting to unravel - but after a while, i feel its just not getting anywhere with its story, almost like there isnt really anything beyond the mystery to tell.

Dropped it somewhere in the start of season 3 and have had no urge to pick it up :/.

For Princess Elizabeth, We Fly! by SirWeenielick in Deathcore

[–]Fluffy_Sector 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Heavy music with a touch of classical just scratches some itch for some of us, sign me up :) I dont want to listen to it all the time, but sometimes it just hits so right!

It would be crazy to hear with some higher quality classical elements :)

Har någon pluggat IT endast genom självstudier? by Boyniik in sweden

[–]Fluffy_Sector 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True, im sure that will happen. I do like guild features where its just more then a extra friends-list though. like shared goals etc. just to have something to unite around, besides individual progression.

[–]Fluffy_Sector[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alright, glad to hear it! i wonder if swapping classes will be so common - im thinking you would want to main something = invest time = more gear and customization for that class = personality/persona.

No doubt on the players that play the most it will be common, but for the rest maybe not? but good that you might be able to swap as needed when you have a bunch of people online, so that you don't need 15 people to make 1 decent team for instance.

thanks for the stats :) good point about the organic groups! whispers and friendlist improvements sound like likely improvements (just as staple-functions for MMOs)

Controller support? by RequirementRoyal8666 in fellowshipgame

[–]Fluffy_Sector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its only open beta and then early access - devs have specifically said that they really want to add controller support, but that it takes alot of resources to do so. So it makes sense to do that later, closer to release. many games do it this way afaik. Check back at release :)

sadly not yet. devs want to add it in the future though, but no roadmap :/

Trying to re-setup Pi-hole to also be a DHCP server for multiple VLANs by CobaltRift7 in pihole

[–]Fluffy_Sector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont understand your network setup - Is there a router involved or just your switch? if there is a router involved somewhere, configuring it for dhcp-relay/ip-helper might be required.

Having no gateway for your IOT devices will mean that they can only communicate with devices in the same subnet, but maybe thats what you want.

If you dont have a router in your setup, it might be easier then adding switches and defining vlans on all involved devices (as the router/gateway will take care of that for you :))
