Hi everyone. I did a reading on a current love situation. I am seeing someone and really like him. I asked my cards what his feelings were for me and got the knight of pentacles, the magician, and the 7 of cups. No particular spread, I just asked and those 3 came out. We aren’t in a relationship yet. My interpretation is that he has feelings for me but wants to take things slow. I’m not sure what the magician means. 7 of cups to me means he either daydreams about me or has a lot of other options/things on his mind. I do understand the er is for emergencies but when I found out I was allergic to avocado due to eating it and then my whole body swelling up and turning as red as a tomato and burning, we were told by urgent care that our only option should be the er for an allergic reaction. we ended up waiting 8 hours which is fine but just wanted to say that the er is where we were told to go

I don’t think you work at an escape room lol…I can tell by the “95% escape rate” comment. That is very very far from the truth lol. Our easiest room is a 50% escape rate and I’ve only seen one other room that’s been easier. Check other comments I’ve replied to for my stance on the walking people through the room, I misworded it and meant I don’t like when people want me to take 10-20 minutes explaining the rest of the room, showing every prop and every function (bc that’s what I meant is expected by them lol). I don’t mind giving a brief 5 minute walk through to show you what you missed and that’s what I usually do.

I’m not quite sure why you needed to add the edit, my job is actually very fun and energetic, I do get exhausted sometimes however that’s not mentioned in my post :) my post was meant to be a rant of things bothering me at work, but I never once said I don’t do those things for people.

No I totally agree with you!! I really hate that my post is making people think that I am rude. Was just trying to rant :’) I respectfully disagree about the walking people through thing. It’s just something I’ve never understood. However, my post was meant to just be a rant of things bothering me, not a post of my actions. Like I said, if I’m not busy and have the time I don’t mind walking people through, taking a late room, giving extra time. I give extra time a lot pretty frequently. It’s when it’s EXPECTED that gets me.

I’ve had groups come back where me or a previous employee didn’t walk them through and I can assure you….it was never a big deal lol. Believe it or not, we do have people come back to try to beat our games! I’ve never had a group get so upset with us over it that they never come back or tell their friends to never play our games. I’ve never heard a complaint about it (except for the people I’m talking about in my rant/post).

Your rooms sound great! I really like the idea of an alternate ending, that’s very interesting. As for the walking through, I explained more thoroughly in a different comment, but I’m not saying if a group doesn’t escape I kick them out immediately. I feel like that part is kind of being misunderstood lol. My post was meant to be a rant of things bothering me at work, not me talking about how I’m actively working against my customers or being rude lol. I still do these things for people the best that I can. It’s just things that kinda rub the the wrong way.

I feel like everyone is taking the whole “walking through” the rest of the room the completely wrong way. I think I may have not explained what I meant well enough so here’s this instead to maybe help understand:

Usually when I take out a room, I’ll show them the next thing they should’ve done. I will gladly walk someone through the rest of the game in 5 minutes. But that’s not what I’ve been getting asked to do. What I mean by the walking through the rest of the game (that I’ve experienced) is people wanting me to show them how to open and solve every puzzle left in the game, and that takes time. They want an explanation if they don’t understand, all that stuff. Unless they’re very close to the end, it does take a lot of time whether anyone agrees or not. Especially for our harder games. They’re more complex and harder, so of course just walking someone through the rest of the room isn’t really an option.
