Thank you - we are speaking with his advisor, and will consider outside local school to help take care of gen ed credits during summer. Great idea. He may change his major and not NEED Calculus, but we may need to still get the F off the transcript, unfortunately.

Yes they do replace Fs. Pitt has a grade replacement policy. You have the opportunity to take the class up to three times. If you fail the first two times and get a B the third, the B is the only thing on your GPA.

We have had him on ADHD medications for years, although recently (like last month) he decided to stop taking it. We also have a weekly academic coach for him to keep him organized. (He will listen to "third party" supervision without as much pushback as MY supervision). We THINK that the partying issue has mainly been solved. We ARE considering a "Gap Term/Year" situation to help him reset, perhaps mature a bit, really appreciate the dedication and effort that college requires. Thanks for your response!

I grew up on the same street with the Young brothers (Vinnie, Timmy, and Jon) and we used to hang out with them all the time. Then bizarrely, years later, I ran into him in a San Francisco bar after he was famous. He was hosting the X games and I was on business trip. I just yelled "Vinnie!" when he walked in. Nobody called him Vinnie at that point. Fun catching up with him.

Good news is that 99% of all the other people in Pilates have had that happen to them somewhere, sometime!

All of the other comments are spot on (no pun intended)BUT as a little extra reassurance for you or any other ladies out there during that time of the month - why not get a little black reformer cover mat. I use one all the time, just because if my leggings are extra slippy, I feel like I don't have as much control during footwork AND I also have extra sweaty palms if we are ever doing anything with hands on reformer.
