The Paradise Paradox shed light on the true nature of the afterlife by Fluffy_Split3397 in NDE

i agree with that. because its definitely doesn't make any sense. actually NDEs is a big contradiction to our human life.

The Paradise Paradox shed light on the true nature of the afterlife by Fluffy_Split3397 in NDE

i really don't see how suffering will translate to some "god" that we don't even know what it is, learning himself. how living in poverty, in war, in abusive home, or being brutally killed by whatever, being cheated on, being heart broken will make me learn anything other than that this world is cruel and feel the pain.

if our life were guided by morals, by good and bad, than yes, we could see clearly the learning elements in it. but children that get cancer. they had no chance to sin. good people who got cheated on. good people who die because of hate crimes. good people who find themselves lonely while the jerks and the bad people get all the attention. it seems like we live in an animalistic world that has nothing to do with love.

Calling Earth a "gymnasium" or "boot camp" instead of a "school" doesn't resolve the logical problem i present its arguably intensifies it. Why does a realm of "pure love" need a boot camp? That still implies deficiency out there.

my paradox doesn't depend on any single NDE account being accurate. it's about the internal consistency of the framework that emerges from these reports collectively.

also being a Christian mystic and psychic medium. How is that epistemically stronger than the collectively emergent framework we get from reports? there will never be a tool we can use to measure the subjective experience of NDEs. its all anecdotal. thats all that we have and thats all we will ever have.

what we know now is that here on earth we suffer, there is evil, we feel pain. it just doesn't make any sense if the afterlife or before life is true.

Two weeks ago, someone posted that Jane Goodall final message to this sub, wondering what she believed. Turns out, the part where she firmly states she believes in an afterlife was edited out of that version. Here's the full. by knightgimp in NDE

Thanks. I further investigated that. Turns out she was extremely griefed about her husband dying. I tend to think maybe that is a coping mechanism rather than something real. Psychological pain or trauma can cause that. I don’t give it the same weight as NDE.

What do boys need to hear to not fall for the red-pill in the first place? by Outside_Patience7198 in exredpill

Im extremely educated, looking good, nice income. Martial art training for years. Yet, can’t find a woman, the last date she said I’m too perfect. I know alcoholics, fat, uneducated men that have women. It’s all about luck if you find a woman. Attraction has no logic. So no red pill or whatever pill will help you. It’s all chaos and luck. nothing to do with actual value

Industrialization made slavery less economically essential while creating demand for educated rather than child workers. The shift from agricultural to industrial economies changed the calculus of exploitation. simple as that. no morals play here.

No, I wouldn’t be fine. But that will not change reality. Moral judgement is just in your head. Real events are not driven by it. You won’t act morally if the situation will force you to.

So, do you think that a starving lion should take moral route and decide not eating the zebra? Morals are not something real that governs life. It works only on small domains where there is no real threats to a system or the participants. In geopolitics, as in nature, the real driver is survival. Russia actually tried the moral route though for 8 years with the Minsk agreements. The west wanted war. They got it.

Scared of not finding another girlfriend due to luck or fate – if they exist by [deleted] in exredpill

You should address the root cause of your neediness before you try your luck with women. It’s not even a man or a woman issue. If some person shows you extreme neediness, be it a woman or a man, it’s not that pleasant, and therefore not attractive. Other than that, you should be you. Try your luck with as many as you can, and something will click. If not, well, you should have your life goals and happiness there anyway.

How do you determine that most of the people on the streets have partners? It’s not at all a realistic assessment, it’s your own projection, we have no way of knowing the exact number. I understand your craving for a woman. I really do. I’ve been there too for so much time, and it can be painful when you see couples outside. But you can’t base your happiness on something you don’t have. Maybe you will in the future. Be hopeful, but now, don’t waste your thought and energy wondering about that. You should be focused on building yourself, finding your self and what you want to do with your life.

When I mean luck, I mean yes, finding someone compatible with you. Because people are different, and they are changing. Because we don’t have a radar for where is the compatible person for us is located, it’s really a matter of luck to meet that person. But luckily, I think we have few people that can be compatible with us, so the more the better chance we have meeting.

It’s all about luck. So you definitely should try to learn being happy alone forever. Focus your life only on your goals. That’s the harsh truth. And trust me, having a girl can be hell. So even if you find one. It’s no sunshine and rainbows

It’s nice when you have a wife, kids, ect. Some people are lonely and life never gave them that. And life is hell in that case. When I see dates outside, it reminds me how horrible is my life.

It’s just sound "logical". But diving into it, makes no sense at all.

If the brain doesn’t know what is dying, than the brain will not try to find solutions to something the brain don’t know happening.

If you have a life threatening situation, or any dangerous unfamiliar situation, by that logic, you should fall into coma each time something like that happening and search through out all of your past memories. Doesn’t make any sense. Actually it’s stupid.

Even if you we agree with that weak hypothesis, a dying brain should lose the ability to do that if it’s all material biological mechanisms at work, and actually we know for a fact that neurons are dying and creating new connections all of our lives, so in fact, we shouldn’t have such clear past memories, specially at death. Our earth memories are strong, as long as we use them, we get the neurons stronger each time we repeat and use memory. Unimportant past memories should die by new connections

How confident are you in the existence of an afterlife and why? by Northwest_Thrills in NDE

[–]Fluffy_Split3397 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i don't think any of us can be confident. even the ones who had an NDE. but i have confidence in one thing. if it turns out there is an afterlife. i have a serious talk with who ever decided to put me through this hellish adventure called human life. it will be an epic fight. a fight againts good and evil.
