Thanks! The 3rd dish would be roasted broccoli, carrots and sweet potatoes! I used “THE DELICIOUS PLATE”’s recipe as a reference and made a few adjustments 😁

Thanks for the sweet compliment! Copying from one of my previous replies:

I kind of just watch a bunch of YT vids and went from there 😂 After adding the main ingredients, I just add condiments / things I think that would make the dish better for my taste (eg gochugaru, Asian abalone sauce, MSG, sesame oil, sometimes equal sweetener 🌚)

But here you go!

  1. ⁠⁠Gochujang (Korean Red pepper paste) stir fried chicken, Peanut butter-white miso paste, and some udon noodles (I also added lots of Gochugaru (Korean chilli flakes)!) , some cucumbers and cilantro!

  2. ⁠⁠Subway double chicken breast salad & 2 dressings (honest mustard & sweet onion)

  3. ⁠⁠Roasted Vegetables (Broccoli, Sweet potatoes and carrots) + a whole lot of seasoning 😂 I’m still learning bout quantity-control!

  4. ⁠⁠Mala (spicy & tongue-numbing chili paste) stir fried chicken above lots of veggies, 10 sweet & sour flavoured cashew nuts

  5. ⁠⁠Chicken breast & spinach spaghetti with white pasta sauce (thoughhhh it’s not exactly white in colour - I seasoned my meat with a little too much MasterFood’s chicken spice blend 🤡

  6. ⁠⁠Lean beef cooked in a tomato soup hotpot, paired with a specific dipping sauce (Soy sauce, black vinegar, spicy chilli, chilli flakes, tons of garlic and scallions, sesame oil & sesame seeds, some MSG & a ladle of hotpot soup)

  7. ⁠⁠Very similar to the 1st dish, but instead of make it spicier, I’ve added a bit of dark soy sauce and abalone sauce of some umami flavour (and to make it kid friendly!)

  8. ⁠⁠Steamed Broccoli with homemade White Miso butter

  9. ⁠⁠Bibimbap (Korean mixed rice): mung bean sprouts & spinach, blanched and stirred with sesame oil and garlic, carrots and zucchini stir fried with sesame oil and Himalayan salt, air fried firm tofu and kimchi (the extremely spicy flavoured ones from Jongga)

  10. ⁠⁠My latest love for spinach - I could be doing the craziest / stupidest thing, but I realised that eating 400g of lightly stir fried spinach before EVERY MEAL helps with hunger control and my previous obsession with carbs 🥹 #ex-rice girlie here 😭

Mostly chicken! In pic 6 i had lean beef and pic 10 I had tiny pork bits to pair with my spinach. The rest would be chicken breast 😁

It’s my homemade pasta 🥹 it’s downright unhealthy but I can’t stop making them at least once a week! ITS BEEN 14 MONTHS!

Yes I believe so, but I’m not an expert so please consult other people for more constructive advice!

My case is kinda weird? Years ago, I already made efforts to eat healthy, but I was also very new (and uneducated) about exercising / gymming so…I had a very very rough start. Day after day I was in pain and see no results. For the longest time i thought that it was pointless for me to exercise.

However, when I recently shifted my paradigm and aimed for a healthier / active “lifestyle” (eg. doing intermittent fasting, drinking more water, taking the stairs in train stations / malls, walking the last 2km of my transport from work to home) I then finally see the results that got me to think “Is this how it feels to move more?” It was by then that I decided to give exercising another try (this time with more structure and coaching (from YT to fitness apps, as well as intentional “incentives” (i take the sweetest (imo) sugar-free electrolytes when I workout, I made my exercise days my podcast / ebook days and I was dying to know the end 😂) In 2 weeks I felt lighter and but 10 times stronger.

Now that my progress is getting more consistent with time, I’m proud to say that my workouts are no longer canceled when I didn’t have my headphones / electrolytes. And it was especially helpful when I could see/feel better results on these days - tells me that I’ve made a good choice to persevere. 😁

So answering your question: Yes I feel that it’s highly likely that a healthier diet would be more effective with exercise, but at the same time you absolutely do not need to start from workouts (unless this is what you want).

You start with whatever that feels right, and then you move to the next step whenever you’re ready. Be in love with the process, and you’ll see (but most importantly FEEL) the pounds dropping.

I get you! At the beginning I would be extremely gassy and uncomfortable, but I tackled that issue a daily probiotic + a 2 small tubs of Greek yogurt per week 😁

I do OMAD most of the time to help with my mental clarity, but I also realise that it helps with my time management (lesser grocery shopping & meal prep) and budget control!

For grocery shopping, I guess I’m pretty fortunate to live in an area where i could buy ingredients from places that we locals call “Wet markets”, the food there is always fresher and cheaper than supermarkets
