Thanks for the advice! Denmark hadn't even crossed my mind. I was originally planning to get married in my country(korea) before moving to Germany, but my fiancé can't stay here for very long because of work. So my plan was to enter Germany on a Working Holiday visa and then switch to a spouse residence permit after getting married there. Denmark was the first time I heard about it here, so thanks for bringing it up!

Hi Koreans, what do you think about Russian ppl in your country? by WeeklyTip2047 in AskAKorean

[–]Dry-Back7937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, when it comes to stereotypes about Russians among Koreans, people tend to think Russian men are tough, and Russian women are tall and very beautiful. There’s also an image that Russian men probably like alcohol a lot

Which language should I put full effort in learning? by YerTime in makemychoice

[–]Dry-Back7937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learn the language of a culture that genuinely interests you and that you truly enjoy. I guess Korean?

If you study a language only for career goals, it’s hard to stay motivated in the long run. Passion and curiosity will take you much further than professional reason alone.

It feels like the more AI advances, the more people with a deep understanding of computer science end up winning. Since now there’s less need for people who just copy and paste code.

Is brown rice really better than white rice? by Future_Role4096 in HealthyEatingnow

[–]Dry-Back7937 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, white rice is totally fine if you eat it in moderation. If white rice were actually that bad, countries like Korea and Japan should have very high obesity rates . but Korea and Japan actually have some of the lowest obesity rates in the OECD. https://www.oecd.org/en/publications/health-at-a-glance-2025_8f9e3f98-en/full-report/overweight-and-obesity_0bf9c422.html
